  1. thank you everyone who has responded, it really means alot to me and the whole familly. The viewing is tonite and the funeral is 2morrow so its not over yet so keep on praying because it does work. Thank you everyone and I want to plan a trip sometime b4 the summer to do a weekend of riding in his memory.
  2. I feel for the other families who lost loved ones. i lost my couzin and it wasnt fun but i see alot of people worried about dumont getting shut down or how people died in drunk accidents or collisions... Alot of you were right, accidents just happen, my couzin overshot the landing and landed on the front tires, hit his head and died, he was wearing his helmet but you cant prevent head trauma.... Yes the accident has left me devastated but im not going to stop riding and doing what i love most because we accept the risk that their are accidents involved. My couzin would have wanted me and everyone else for that matter to keep on riding. Just be safe everyone and you should have a grea time!
  3. thanks bro. I see your point. I mean it took them forever to get there in the first place and then i thought ok then as soon as they get off ehy will rush their a$$ and work on him but they took their precious little time to save him. Thats why i give credit to the guys who tried saving his life... my friends dad was an ex firefighter and did all he could and then the other 2 men helped out as well and they could have just stood around but thats what i call real men. they came in and were the angels for my couzin... I do not blame them at all for not being able 2 bring my couzin back. His injuries were to severe but what mattered most to me is that they still tried their hardest and worked their a$$es off to save my couzin. If you or anyone knows those guys if you can please send me their adress or email so i can thank them again because of their tireless effort.
  4. ya in the first finger dune and to set the record straight he was unconscious on impact and stayed that way all the way until the end so he didnt have 2 suffer through all the pain.... just one of them freak accidents u know?
  5. Like i said earlier I just want to thank all of you for the support that is being given. It really makes things better at times like these knowing that so many people care
  6. Thank you so much you guys. I appreciate it so much. this is wy i continue to ride because the community always helps each other out.
  7. So this was my first time ever to the dunes. I must say the experience gave me mixed emotions. When I first got their on friday night i was amazed at how many people were already there. I got taken to comp hill where I had a blast racing guys and girls up the hill. that night we waited for my couzin to arrive and he did. He had a look of excitement on his face and so was I. So the next day which was saturday we got up and rode all day long. We took a trip to north pole and we were having a blast. We raced up comp hill a few times and that was alot of fun aswell. We finally go back to camp and we decided to jump up one of those hills we were parked next to so we were jumping it with the quad and everything was going smooth until the last jump and the quad nose dived and my couzin hit the bars hard and evn though he was wearing his helmet the impact was just to much for him to take..... I just want to thank all the people that helped him out and tried all they could to keephim alive. It was his time and it was gods decision to take him that day.... I am still in shock and it still really hurts but my advice to anyone who goes riding is to just have fun and be careful and dont take life for granted because just liek that your loved ones can be taken away from you..... My couzin Omar was 21 years young and had his whole life ahead of him.... Now he is Looking down on us and in a better place.... R.I.P Omar and you will never be forgotten...
