Pete I have a new idea , I know I have given you grief about some things but I think this one will fly !

How about a Calender ....Take all of your featured pics, but only of Dumont Dunes, and put out a Calender..Make an annual calender. Not only will your peeps be a part of this, but you can only buy it here on DDR. And maybe you can put a damn Skull on the back page for me. What do you think ?

The Final Outcome

I met up with a guy named Clay, he was super cool ! He comes over drops off the TRX 450 and says I will back at 8:00, just ride it, see how you like it....I was thinking "Alright". I have never met Clay before, and had met him off of Craigs List..I thought that was way trusting. Anyway back to the point...i rode the TRX, and then rode my YFZ and honestly it is apples to apples....neither of them was comfortable, and neither had a difference in suspension. So I chose "NOT"...but thanks to Clay for allowing me to keep his bike and give it a whirl while he was away. I will worry about all of this before riding season. Thanks for everyones input .

I guess i cruise over and check it out and see if the inside is any different than regular 7-11's

Nobody wants to tell you if it has been altered inside huh ED ! However I doubt it will be worth the trip. Henderson is nowhere like Springfield. In Springfield there are Cartoons of beer drinking white trash, but in Henderson they are real. I think I have changed my mind...I am not going ! By then hopefully my truck will be repaired from all the battle wounds acquired from the past few trips, and I am just not mentally equipt to handle anymore damages. Dani, your going to have to borrow the old trailer for this trip !

Thanks for the feedback you guy's.Basically to sum it all up ,for the time I have been on this site I have noticed a few people feel very comfortable about asking general questions,advice,or anything else that aren't dune related and on the most part you get alot of support and no judgment.Some wise cracks though but that's ok at times :shoot_head: So it is nice to go to a place that if you have something to share there will alway's be a response good or bad or will make you laugh.

I wanna say somethin !!!! The people that we have met in person, even online have been genuine....it doesn't seem like people are trying to be someone else...if that makes sense. We have met people with family, people who are getting married, people who love to drink, and all around people who are basically just being friendly to one another. This site is great for people to just come together, and talk about things we love, hate and all the in betweens. On the lighter side, I come on to it because I like the wise cracks, humor and heartless cutdowns....but that just goes to show you, there is something here for everyone.

So do just that....open your house to family....with a time limit. They have to understand your position, kids, wife, career, and being an adult. I think my mom wanted this same crap a few years ago....I was a chicken and avoided the whole conversation, and it just passed. i dont thing i want to camp next to you ........... but across from you sounds like a good show . my family had a good time camping when i was growing up also. i know a few times we were the show.

im not sure what it was i think the idle screw was to far in

Mine did the same thing until I F....D with the idle screw....It still starts kinda cold but after two or three times it idles fine.

Thanks Ed ! I get a little leary about how ligit someone is when the put the 99 at the end of a price, like I am waiting for the sales tax and destination charges too. But I saw this add, and it has been there awhile. I have to sell this quad first before I can purchase another. Unless I can finance.

I will wait a few weeks more, then start the shock and seat process. Mineurbiz, and cdavego both swear by the "ELKA" shocks, is this all I have to select from, or is this just top of the line ????
