have a +4 swinger, ....cdi witch doesn't make any difference.

Excellent help everyone, Thanks.....Thank you Foxysandchick and Sincity450 for the offer ! I am going to reconsider the shocks and seat unless I can get someone to do a swap for the Raptor 700. I will wait a few weeks more, then start the shock and seat process. Mineurbiz, and cdavego both swear by the "ELKA" shocks, is this all I have to select from, or is this just top of the line ????

I would go Elka and only Elka! You could always go with Fox , Works, ohlins, and so on... IMO go with only the best. Like I said before, hit me up (824-5560) I will let you ride my bike whenever! I'm not trying to persuade you one way or another just want you to know the difference before you make your decision. I also got +2 A-arms and that makes it a little different from stock trim, but vary forgiving on the rough crap!

Don't do it! TRX 450 I have a 04 YFZ with Elka suspension and it is wonderful. I will let you ride it if you want. Doesn't beat the crap out of me like it did when it was stock... 700 raptor? Ugh! I wouldn't do that either IMO. If you already got mods done to your YFZ why not just go one step more put some good shocks on it and a 06 seat (wish I had one) and call it a day. If your dead set on a 700 raptor I MIGHT know someone willing to do the trade. I wont know that until I see him next at work monday.

May cut down on the gas usage too! prolly wont affect mine more than it is already going to be. Hauling 5 bikes with the F-150 to Dumont should be right around the same as i got coming back from coral (8mpg)... Oh well no biggie...

1. It depends what time shane gets into town. I dont get off work until 4:30, and if need be then darrell could probally get off early, cuz the idea was to roll with everybody up there because we have never been up there before, and wanted to do the whole road trip thing.

2. We were thinking about camping out there because Im not going to be riding and we will have felonie with us so it would be pointless to go to coral pink and me chill in the sun by myself ya know. Were trying to get chapo to loan us the motorhome so I can have entertainment while u guys are off riding.

Im Still going up there the 16th & 17th. Cant go the following weekend, gotta work.

I post on many threads and have been missing in action for a while cuz well you know, sheit happens. so a few weeks ago i go to log on and I really couldnt remember my password.. so every once in a while between then and now I would try to log in and I would still forget what password it is, and what e mail i used. Yea it does. The only thing your missing is the +2 arms and elka's and I would have a twin. Also both pics of our bikes were taken at Coral Pink.

What kind of power difference will you get doing it?

I picked up big all around, but huge gains on the top end. I will let you ride mine to see what you think before doing it. The only other mods I got are a Big Gun Race, White Brothers Rev box, Jetting, proflow air kit & k&n. No gear change on 91 octane.
