hanging out with my old lady and my little girl. dragging them to every off road event i can, and every m/c shop in town(really just best cycle). working on my yfz450 and 50's and searching the web for a good deal on a buggy and motorhome. got to sell the mini buggy and toyhauler first. i am also a huge golf cart fan, and seem to buy and sell atleast one per year, and still have the everlasting project cart on the side of the house, next to the bug that may or may not ever get done.

  2. the mint 400 is back this weekend. tech inspection thursday night at fremont. any long time vegans or natives probably remember...it was a really cool event.
  3. i am hoping that manufacture's like this pushes for the bikes to be legal, then all we have to do is make our bikes similar for registration. i don't see how you can have one without the other. my dad said he thought the first atv he saw was just a fluke, but when he saw another bike the next day, he asked me if i knew of any changes. i hope our regulations get more like AZ rather than CA, across the board. chris vuckovic
  4. i got a call from my dad yesterday. he has seen 2 quads on 2 different days riding the streets in vegas in regular traffic. have the laws here changed?
  5. when in doubt, power out!!!
  6. if he ever needs anything else, make a personal delivery. while there, have some drinks at the bucket of blood salloon. one of the best dive bars ever (as reference to another thread) in which i spent plenty of time when i lived up north (which is probably why it took longer than it should to get through). ask for marshall; he is the owner, and he will drink you under the table, like any good bar owner should!!! i guarantee a good time.
  7. you know what they say... once you've seen one pair... you want to see all of them
  8. i was thinking of getting rid of the yfz for one. any owner update would be appreciated
  9. I did buy a ticket, and it was my first show. and i completely agree, those guys have huge balls. i just stared in awe of all of the show quality buggies lined up ready to race. i am an avid dumont goer, and love checking out all of the hot cars at comp hill, however, untill this season, none of the guys i camp with have ever owned a long travel car. as a matter of fact, i had never ridden in one until this season, and really only got to ride in one once. don't get me wrong, i support the crap out of all the guys that competed in the event, and like i said, was shocked at how nice the cars were. and i would pay to see it again. except the next time i really hope no one gets in an accident. seeing the pictures of your friend makes my stomach turn, because as i save for one, if that happend to me, i would be sick, on the track or in the dunes. as far as metioning i hope you were not the friend, i said that in jest. i am sure he can make his own desicions. but per my experience, all of my events that required stiches as an adult have all been made while sitting around with my buddies. i too can make my own decisions, but combined with my friends, we do some crazy things. whether riding 50's at 1am to missing turns in the desert to trying to take hills we can't make to jumping way too far, we have all been in the emergency room with our friends wondering how the events transpired into our injuries, and why i was getting stitched up again. and i know that this doesn't just happen to me.
  10. knuckheads in reno, nevada. it is the best stereotypical dive bar i can think of, now that the beer barrell is closed, also in reno.
  11. i hope you're not the friend who came up with the great idea of him competing in that race!!! i love going to the races, and was there during the sand car challenge, but left early, and apparently missed that. i just can't understand how people take their beatiful sand cars out on that compact dirt track. i am glad he is alright, and was able to walk away.
  12. looks like the evil batmobile
  13. nice yellow r, i didn't think they made yellow anymore.
  14. i use a sony laptop that i bought in 2003, and it still kicks butt. i run my business through it, and it only, and also use it to do all my sand dune web browsing. my wife and i don't have a desktop anymore, as i just bought her a new sony, so now we sit across the coffee table from each other everynight while the tv is on surfing the web. maybe if we each get instant messanger, we can communicate more. seriously, i love both sony's, and would buy them 10x over again. best computer(s) i/we have ever had. plus it has the memory stick slot so we can easily load our digital pix. -chrisvuc
