I spoke with a local blm ranger and he said they had to use a private contractor for road maintenance because the normal operator is on light duty. He said they are supposed to start maintenance a few days before the holiday weekend but he couldn't guarantee it. I was out there today and I can agree that it has been the worst I've seen it in my 17 years of duning.

So while duning in a new 2011 rzr4 with about 15 hours on it and full of passengers my belt explodes, no big deal it happens. The problem is that all the string from the bet found its way behind the primary clutch, wrapped around the output shaft and worked its way through the seal and ruining the seal. This seal can only be replaced by splitting the cases. Has anybody else had a problem like this with there rzr4. I tried grinding down a new seal but it only lasted for a ride then started to leak. oh ya and I really mean the belt explode into hundreds of pieces. Just tell me what you think.
