  1. I just thought it would be a good idea to start a list of things to start thinking about getting ready for dune season. Ya know, the things that oftens get overlooked like changing the genny oil, checking to see you are due for a chain/ sprocket set, etc.

    I'll start. Try and copy/ paste the list and keep it going if possible. :dumbass:

    -check trailer tires for separation/ proper air pressure

    -generator oil/ filter/ maintenance

    -current OHV stickers on all toys

    -whips/flags that are in decent shape

    -air filters on anything & everything with a motor

    -new gloves? ditch those old holey ones

    -check batteries on bikes and trailer that have been sitting

    -check flashlights for fresh batteries

    -propane levels

    -check spark arrestors on all toy's

    -check that rv refrigerator if it needs maintance, don't want to have a warm six pack

    -check you'r towing components (chains, weigth distridution bar's ect........

  2. dude you started at 3000 and went down to 1200, now your back up to 1800???? dude you stuff isnt gonna sell you have over 100 post on this topic of people telling you that. its time for you to listen and either 1, drop the price below 1000 or 2, keep it!

    O and BTW where the hell do you shop at? your exhaust and plastic cost 1500????? you got ripped the hell off! honda plastic is cheep like 100 for either front or rears and that pipe couldn't of been more then 200!

    Well seing that the econome got alittle better i rise the price to 1,800 and the plastics only cost me $150 and the exhaust was $230

  3. Well my recent problem I had with my generator was NOT the carb. :driver: How do I know this? I just bought a new carb and put it on and nothing has changed. Same problem still exists. :laughoff:

    So anyways, hopefully someone can help. Here's what it's doing. Earlier it fired up with a couple pops right after startup but it fired up. Then I turned both A/C units on and ran it for about 45 minutes. It ran great. Then it chugged for a split secoond a couple times, then about 10 seconds later it backfired then died.

    Now it fires up no prob with the usual pop or two right after startup, but as soon as I turn on the AC unit (or any other heavy load) it bogs and backfires bigtime.

    Here's is what I have checked...

    -oil level is good

    -fuel volume seems ok and fuel qaulity is good

    -fuel filters are both new

    -new carburetor

    -200 bucks and 2 beers later I'm still pretty pissed off

    eff yoooou 200 dollar carb for nothin :censored::idiot:

    :rolleyes: Does'int the factory or dealer warranty cover this problem that's if you did get some when you got the motorhome

  4. Not to be rude or sound like a jerk, but he has a point.

    There's only so much you're going to get out of a 2 valve head, and by the time youre done you could have bought a 450.

    Umm i think i am just going to sell the raptor and buy a banshee

  5. :blink: And after you spend a couple thousand dollars and many hpours later you still have a 350 Raptor that won't be worth half the money you have invested. Sell it and buy a bigger and better quad.

    Well i have tried to sell the quad but it does not sell is it cause the price is to high cuz i have seen them in the cycle trader and i have look and thare for 3,000 or more so is thare a dealer that could buy for a good price. have been selling it for a long time i a planing to buy a banshee if i sell my raptor

  6. DAMNIT!! I couldn't resist coming in here and reading the inevitable train wreck of a thread.. :thumb:

    Like Pete said, the only real way to upgrade is to sell and buy something with better suspension and power. I looked for all of 1/2 hour before realizing that my wife's 250ex will be better off replaced when she is ready. And just my :laughoff: , but this time, do your research BEFORE posting an ad with price. And be ready to justify your price when you are either higher or lower than everybody else. Good luck, I have a feeling you may need it...

  7. I have a raptor 350 that i have for sale and i wanted to know if thare are any mods that i could do on this quad. I was looking to see if thare are any engine mods like big bore kits and suspention mods. already tried the raptor reforms and havent seen any :P

  8. No color matching what so ever. Last i looked a few grey whites and i think one black with a chit load of speaker wires that go to a switch board for selecting front to back and outside but the board isn't labeled. I was hoping to be abled to get together with someone in the vegas area that would be willing to pull the radio out so i could see where the eff they all go ! :dumbass:

    :grin: get a wiring diagram so you could see whare does each wire goes and what color connects to hope this helps
