  1. Have to admit 2009- 2010 were a very rough years for me, I left a 10 yr job to go find greener pastures and ended up gettin promoted 3 times in 8 mos and am finally back on top. Debts are getting paid off and me and the wifey have a goal!

Been working a ton and not having as much fun as usual but we are getting there, the credid cards and cars are almost paid off and im finally at a stage where the monkey is well and truley off our backs.

I gotta admit it has sucked not being in the sand but its short term pain long time gain, '09 was a year of "fuk it slap it on a credit card and lets have fun" well this year things have swapped and looking up, another promotion is in the works and the wifey landed a kickass job a few mos back.

Ive decided its time to concentrate on whats important, the days of tearing it up as much as possible and working my a$$ off just to party my a$$ off are behind me, its time to start working on mini brits

Anyway sorry for drolling on im just stoked things are changin and on the up and up, I am missing the sh*t out of every weekend in the dunes tho :dope: :dope: :dope: :dope:

Again great job guys, every dumont rider/driver owes you a beer :headbang1: :drunks: :drunks:

  4. Depending on what your doing I would also recommend Glenn at GSS he is the 500 guru but can machine just about anything and has no problem shipping cylinders. He is out of palmdale/lancaster area.

For a rebore you cant go wrong with glen, without a shadow of a doubt the best rebore guy Ive ever used, just dont go getting talked into any expensive portwork.

  5. Very very cool and a kickass story to boot!!! :undecided:

I met richard branston on a flight from england to here a few years back, he was really chilled and took a few mins to talk to everyone on the plane, definately the nicest multi billionaire Ive ever met :hello:

  6. I always brine turkeys, its easy and makes it sooooo moist.

I always eyeball stuff so I dont really have a recipie but this is what I do

    Biggest pot of boiling water

    sh*tload of salt

    sh*tload of brown sugar

sh*tload of white sugar (or honey or mollasses or corn syrup)

Head of garlic cut in half and rough crushed

    Bayleaf

    20 or so peppercorns

    spoonfull of rosemary

Boil all that up for 10 mins or so to dissolve all sugars and salt, dump in a load of ice and let sit to room temp.

Put turkey in a clean trashbag then put trashbag into big pan/cooler, pour over brine then squeese all air out of bag, tie top of bag, turn every day for 3-4 days in refrigerator.

Makes the best turkey you ever had and even if you completely screw up and overcook it, it'll still be dripping in juices.

  7. Well I was a bad boy and went out there last night and sucked down a few cold ones, then this morning I called into work that I was gonna be late and hit the poker run at 8am!

Took me just over 1hr to do the 'B' loop on my bike, lemmie tell ya it was a blast!!!!

Nice course layout and it seemed like I was the only one out there, it did kinda suck that only one checkpoint was manned that early :DDRrocks:

I packed up the trailer and headed home then straight to work, and to top off an awsome mornin I was only 2 hrs late :pumpkin:

Im fuggin stoked I got to run it, Ive lived in barstow for 6 years and never managed to get to the poker run something has always happened to screw it up.
