    I use USAA for all of my insurance. I haven't seen anyone come close to thier rates. I believe it is only available for military or prior military, I could be wrong though. Worth a look see for sure.

    Darby I feel your pain! My baby's momma, my first ex-wife forged my name on credit cards and retail purchases after the divorce. I had to fight with the compaines and credit reporting agencies to remove myself from the crap she did to my credit. Additionally, my son just turned 12 and I've been in a custody battle for the last 8 years. I've had physical custody since 2001 and legal custody since 2002. Again, like you she's dodged child support or sent bad checks. I petitioned the court to make her start paying through the courts so they could keep track of her and so I wouldn't recieve any more bounced checks. I also figured this would keep her honest in paying, FAT CHANCE! I believe, though I haven't looked lately, she owes somewhere in the neighborhood of 5K in back child support. The old double standard exsist so bad in the dirty south, I would be under the jail if I owed that much, thanks South Carolina!

    I agree it would have been cheaper to keep her, but much easier to have had her killed! hahahaha

    Sirius/XM merger

    Ok, I want to try to clear up some misconception here. An XM radio will connect to sirius sat. and vice versa, I've had a close friend doing it for years. His alpine specifically stated XM, and he's been goign through Sirius for 3 years now. So, no matter what your sat radio says it will connect to, it will connect to either.

    Additionally there is a very good website out right now through sirrus, that will tell you the plan that is in the works. Basically, sirrus customers would be able to by at an additional amount purchase a certain number of channels for a small extra cost. http://www.siriusmerger.com/

    Cheap flight to Phoenix?

    I have a new grand daughter that could be here any day in Phoenix and will need to fly down so does anyone have a connection or know where to get a deal on a flight this weekend? I did the normal google and checked the normal online places.

    What about a one way car rental?

    less the 300 for this weekend with southwest from what i've seen

    allegiant air doesn't fly into pheonix so no mega cheap flight there

    right at 300 on cheaptickets.com with usairways

    these prices were all for this weekend and flying out of vegas

    most of our oil comes from canada and venezuala. they are no where near the middle east. im not sure but i dont even think canada is an opec nation. the mere threat of drilling our own oil would make opec drop there prices.

    as far as bush goes : we were all so angry about 911 that we forgot wars cost money. lots of money. we jumped in . and alot of people now want out. bush has not concentrated on the us econemy no where near as much as he should have.

    i understand that a lot of people feel that bush should keep his distance if mc cain stands a chance. however if he would have lifted the executive orders first. and the greenie nation rises up he will get crucifide. so i see why he is playing on the publics outcry first.

    i was at the gas station yesterday. handed the lady a 100 dollar bill for fuel and made a joke " ya im just going down the street" and the people behind me laughed and sparked up a politicle conversation. on lady said " well i hope obama will get the prices down " i looked at her and said "not only will we pay more if obama gets in our taxes will go up" this woman looked middle class orange county woman saise " well i dunno he did say hes going to make a change " so i asked her what change exactly what is he going to change" with that she responded " well im really not sure but he saise hes going to make things change"

    Thankyou Bob! I've been trying to tell people for years that our oil isue had jack to do with the middle east, but it falls on deaf ears. A majority of our friggin problem is Hugo Chaves. Most folks are so wrapped around the axle about the middle east they don't look into the real facts.

    DDR Sightings

    So, this may or may not be a dumb idea. I used to be a member of a community automotive forum back east and we had a running post about member sighting. Some included pictures and others did not. SandSoulja's post about seeing a DDR sticker reminded me. I'll start and you can flame or join in if you like.

    Saw a red GMC Yukon on Eastern yesterday around 1645, looked like it may have been Angela. Yukon had a DDR sticker on drivers side rear window. I threw a wave out the window, but how many folks are going to recognize someone with Georgia plates in a super duty they've never seen.

    Don't forget a chop top, crazy exhaust (lake pipes, zoomie headers), classic taillights (59 caddy/32 ford) and PINSTIPING!!!! Got to have PINSTRIPES!
