Arrived at Dumont at about 10:30 pm Friday night. Was suprised by the amount of people, I've never been out on holiday. Well anyways set up camp ( my tent ). Went out for a midnight run. Messed around Comp and Banshee hill. Went back had couple of beers and knocked out. Woke up at 6 am saturday to a crazy a$$ wind storm. It was just me in the tent and I jumped out took everything out and my tent then collapsed like a taco haha. so I rolled it all up and stuffed it in the back seat of my truck. Slept inside nice and comfortable. Dunes were chewed up compared to 3 weeks ago that I was out here. Had an awsome time. Didn't take videos or pics was too busy riding. Comp hill Saturday night was insane. Big amount of people there. Got back knocked out ( slept in my truck lol ) woke up n loaded up and headed out. Had a blast.

my trip started at sun up the 9th:

had problems with the lead wire for the brakes and lights on the vending trlr - fixed it

got to Dumont and the road was the worst I had ever encountered going in - spent almost an hour cleaning up inside the vending trlr.

had problems with the lead wire that powers my LQ trlr - fixed it

had 3 paying customers in a 27 hour period

on the way home, the LQ trlrs left rearmost tire blew out the sidewall

Burned through $98 worth of fuel

Left friday night from my house and got to Dumont about Midnight. Got the fire going and just relaxed. There was a bit of wind but perfect weather Woke up nice and early with a bit of wind. Nothing to crazy but it was perfect. Weather was perfect overall Saturday wasnt even hot. Didn't get as much pics as I wanted but rode all day! Had a lot of fun! Can't wait to go back. It was nice to see big crowds at D a lot of campers.

I will arrive at Dumont Oct 8 @ around 9-10pm at night. Staying either till Saturday night (9) or Sunday (10) morning not sure.

You were still slippin with the 10 cup hauler huh. Seems like it would have been diggin too much. Bigtruckdrmr's 250ex has whats equivelent to a 10 cup and it kills it.

Was it busy or just windy out there, I can get wind in Pahrump with less sand in the eyes!

it was windy at first, then wind stopped and got hot. But I can feel the sand coming over the razors hitting me. I was wearing my full sleve shirt and it will hit me hard. Check out the trip report I did.

Yea I was suprised. I expected more people but oh well. I had a good time.

Can't complain. A day at the dune beats any day at home. How as the weather.

From like 9-11:30 windy. Wasn't really hot. Then the wind stopped and it got pretty hot. I think it was 95 ish. Didn't check. Over all it was nice, tho can't complain. Dumont was empty! There was only 7 groups.

So just got back from hitting up Dumont for a day trip. Got there around 9 am and it was kind of windy. Wasn't as hot as I thought it was going to be but the wind was blowing. I took my brother ( 8 years old ) sister ( 15 ) and dad it was the first time for them at Dumont and Sand in general. While riding I would feel the sand hit me haha. Was like wtf lol. Anyways here are some few pics and videos will come later. My brothers quad was running awsome but damn getting stuck everywhere. Oh well can't complain what I payed for that new. Im going to buy him a bigger good brand quad.

Im also considering in purchacing a bigger truck and toy hauler.

Seen 2 members that are from here I think. Well there was 2 Honda Oddysies.

I been having traction issues with the 250 ( red ). Had Skat Trak Edge on and they would spin up comp hill. They wouldn't hook. So I borrowed my friends Skat Trak 10 Paddle Haulers and they worked way better. Still would spin but I made it up. I don't know what the right paddle for that quad is.

I might be out there on Saturday for a day trip. I'll be with my sister. First time for her ridinh at the dunes.

I had a lot of fun today. Not any pics. Just some videos of me racing up Comp Hill.

Im planning on leaving after work at around 7 pm. Should be there around 10-11pm.

Staying maybe till Sunday if not coming back Saturday night. Heading out with a few friends.
