  2. I headed out to Dumont on Thursday after work. Left my house at 8:30pm. Got there at 11:30pm. Met up with MooseBob ( My friend ) chilled, and went on a midnight run. Pretty crazy at night riding around with no paddles hahha. Anyways go back safe. Friday morning got up put the paddles on and went riding all day. Headed out at 5:30'ish. It was only a day trip but it was worth it. The duness were chewed up. BUt the wind was blowing and cleared most of it. It wasn't that cold haha. I had fun. Best riding experience I ever had at Dumont.

    Here are some pics:

I always take pics of my quads in the sand. I need someone to take some of me riding.

  3. What he probably means is before loading it on to the trailer/toy hauler, or if its going to be sitting for a while is drain the carb float bowl. All you have to do for that is, while the bike is running turn the gas off and let it idle till it shuts off. (or)

Some carbs have a screw on the bottom of the carb that you can take out to let the gas drain. <bike and gas turned off if doing it that way.

    Oh okay coo coo. Thanks.

  4. That's a fantastic price.

The '08's were a big improvement over earlier models.

More power, the cool clutch system, improved suspension and lot's of other good things.

We've had several of them,, gliders are a perfect paddle tire for them.

RM ATV sells them on the rim delivered cheap.

Usually no shipping or sales tax.

Drain the carb, and turn off the gas when not in use or you'll wish ya did.

I bought a 08 as well. So you recommend shutting off the gas n clearing the carb when not in use. Have it like that every day? Sorry I'm just new to maintaining a quad lol.

  5. ahh I see...a little HDR magic. nice. What program do you use?

    Photomatix Pro 3

I got it for free of a friend hhaha. I love it.

    Nice pic Adrian!

I like the contrast! You need to photoshop some lightening in the background of that!

Glad to see you get back out there!

Thanks! I'll try and edit it again. I was glad to be back even tho it was for only one day. Left my house at 7:30 pm got there around 11 pm Saturday night. Left Dumont Sunday at 4:30.

  6. Sweet pics. Hey what kind of camera and setting/ feature is used in those? I like em. The one of the truck is killer!

Hey just a regular point and shoot camera. Canon PowerShot SD750.

And a tripod. Settings where in manual. Took diffrent pictures at diffrent exposures then I combined them.

  7. We are coming from Rancho Cucamonga, not sure how many miles, but it takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Can't wait, we'll be out there on Monday, we camp near bathroom 6... :mischevious: :laughoff:

Last time I was there we stayed near #6 and I belive well be there again this time.

Hopefully I don't get stuck with my 2x4 Frontier haha.
