I got a stock 1974 in storage , it don't run though, But its bone stock.....I was saving this one for an engine upgrade just like this......is it eligible for the raffle?

Yes they all have a oil pumps. They all tend to run hot. It's an air cooled engine. If you have the head and cylinder off the motor, my advice to you is install the high flow oil pump with an external oli cooler. The high flow oil pump will increase flow by something like 300%. You only can do the oil pump upgrade with the cylinder off the motor. You will need to drill the oil passege as part of the install.......my 2 cents..........

Yea pretty easy. Just loosen that wing not all the way out and should slide out. Spray wd40 first

man i had a blast. hella dusty though. definitely need a new clutch on the 88, its fryed. i beat the crap out of my bike today. it did better then i expected. lots of fun, we gotta do this again, cant get any better then this for last min. good people, food, drinks. all around 70's......Mahalo's
