should turn out to be a good day. i got some carb issues i gotta workout. its a new set up so it needs some tuning. after the cops left last sat i pulled the plug and that baby was lean as hell. any budy bringing a 88cc 70? i need a sparring partner.... hehe

was sup guys. me and my brothers went out to the dry lake bed today. it was sperr of the moment. I'm glad we did cause we had a blast. so we was talking on the ride back into town and decided to make a day of it on Saturday. I talked to skinner and think he's gonna make it out on Saturday as along with other 70 owners i called. i would love to see more 70's out there. the terrain is perfect for the 70's. here's a few pics of our trip at the dry lake bed. hope to see you out there this sat...im gonna be there at 10 am

If you guys get together, I am down for that, Coles was a blast last time!! I could even bring the radar gun again and get some more speed checks like nick toping 29 mph again.

lol... thats classic. yeah we can do a little 70 bbq get together or something, spark some motivation to get toys tip top for the regatta. last year we met up at Cole's and terrorized his neighborhood for the afternoon, but he is off putin in work in another desert, so we need to switch venues

yes lets do this...i was thinking the dry lake bet just past bolder city. theres a spot great for the 70's not to rough, cool little trails. and its not to out of the way. ill scout it out tomarrow and take some pics.

yea my brothers and i was having a blast. it was a nice day to ride 70's at the open lot next to my house. i was riding my blue bike. its got 88cc kit,carb, race head, did all work myself. cop clocked me at 37mph, had to shut her down at the top end cause i ran out of runway...lol. we where riding our bikes on the open lot where you see the cop parked...skinner and i was talking about doing a 70 meet real soon. im sure we can put something together, huh skinner.....well keep you guys posted, hell thats a good reason to meet up, lets plan something

ok this is what went down.

i bought that CDI setup on ebay just to try it, first off it took like 3 weeks to get to my house, not ten days like they say. second when it finaly go here i took it out of the box and they dident even wrap it for the long trip. ofcorse the box was smashed up from shipping. they dident even use popcorn. i installed it on my blue bike and no spark....go figure.....i tryed all kinds of sh*t to make it work.....i then emailed this guy telling him the prob, it seem he was stalling me. any ways i contacted Ebay and there no help at all....scrue Ebay for that......anyways guys save you self the frushtration dont buy this Crap....trust me a fresh set of points is good enough.......this is the auction

nice!... bmx pegs are perfect i have the same thing! the ones on my black 70 actually say mongoose on them, i just rotated it toward the ground! lol. i like the cut in the tank too!

on side note, i got the brake i was telling you about dialed in and welded up. tore the bike down tonight and started seperating the parts going to powder and the parts gettin polished. i need to weld up a bunch of holes on the frame, a bunch of bolt holes that i wont need anymore, and stuff like that, still unsure of exactly what i am doing for color, i am pretty sure i am doing a two stage with a base color and a candy, i am sure i wont make up my mind until i get to the damn shop! lol

green one all stock motor, need's a better carb. drop the pegs a little so big kids can ride. got that one free this year. brought it back from the dead

blue one 88cc with carb, i ran this one last year at the regatta, it was the white one with the Iron Maiden on the tank. did the foot pegs, custom tank to make room for the side draft carb. this baby runs great. gotta up grade the clutch soon..its slipping

one more in the works..hope i finish that one in time for regatta #3........ :stir:
