  1. Yesterday, my wife, father in law and a few friends went out on a quad run. We camp by bathroom #3. As they go over the first finger towards bathroom #5, some jackass grooved in a track into the sand. If you look at it, it looks like normal sand. Once you get to it, it goes down 3'. Well my wife and father in law it that groove. Wife came out with a bad bruise and father in law came out with a broken back. If the jack a$$ that build the track reads this, you need to learn about safety. It shpuld have been marked some way. It obvious that you should not be in this sport. You should stay at home and watch cartoons with your kids. Thanks for ruining my weekend.

  2. We will be leaving tomorrow for Dumont. The days after the accident have been very hard on us. Now we have to pack the toy hauler with all the food and camping equipment. Not packing for him or loading his dirt bike is going to be very hard. We will see everyone out there. Thank you to everyone for all your prayers.

  3. This past Wednesday, my wife and I lost our son to a horrible motorcycle accident. His lost has hit us very hard. Our plans to Dumont almost came to an end. Since my son loved Dumont, and bought a dirt bike for the trip, we still will be attending this coming weekend. Friday night we will be holding a memorial for him in his honor. My family and friends will be lighting Chinese lanterns in respect for the wonderful life he has had until his passing. I really hope the Rangers will understand. My son was also inlisted in the Army.

  4. Very Cool. I am trying to get my dad to come out with us. I would love to take him for a ride in my rhino. I am sure your dad and stepmom had a blast. At my camp, it was a little sad. One family, that was with us, had a tragedy last year to the date. She had lost her father the day before New Years. We sent off lots of Chinese Lantern in his memory.

  5. We heard of the tragedy on Saturday night. My family, friends and I were lighting off tons of Chinese Lanterns and the friends of Tony came to our camp in tears. They told us the story. Very Sad. They also said that it could have been a stuck throttle. There was a lot more to the story about the driver. There is still lots of questions that need to be answered. Anyways, we gave them some of our lanterns so they can send off in respect to their friend. Apparently, his nephew had left the dunes earlier that day to return home. He did not find out until the next day. Very Sad indeed.

  7. Just feeling the market right now. I have a 2007 35' Damon Daybreak motorhome. Model 3276. It has a Ford Triton V10 motor with 17,110 miles on it. Double slides, bunk beds, for the kids, separate bathroom, 3 TV's, satellite Dome on top of the RV, ready for DirectTV or Dish Network, Solar Panel to keep the coach batteries charged, trailer brake controller, Inline Water Filter, Onan 5500 generator with 300 hrs on it, dual AC units. Motorhome is in perfect running condition. I change the engine oil every 3000 miles and the generator oil every 100 hrs. Tires are always covered when not in use. When I pay the storage fee, I let the engine and the generator run for about 15 to 20 min while I am paying the bill. If interested, I will also throw in a 20' Interstate enclosed trailer with the sale. The trailer is 20' long and 8' wide, dual axle, and a ramp door. I can put 3 quads and a Rhino in the trailer. I added extra D-Rings to strap down the Rhino while towing. I also epoxy coated the floor for those nasty spills. Both for $75,000 I am having the Rig fully detailed this week so I will be taking picture right after that. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me with any questions.

  8. I am sure that BLM will not be there today. Being Christmas and everything. I think they will be there on Sunday to start. I can not see them not do anything for this coming New Years weekend. They will loose a grip of money from campers that can not get in. Thanks for the updated pictures and information.
