Hi My Name is Harry Mc Dermott I am the owner of Trinity Racing. I have
owned and operated Trinity Racing for over 30 years, it has always been the
policy of Trinity That our mechanics don't do side work for the obvious
reasons, this being one. We have always stood behind our work and because of
this situation I would like the opportunity to make this right even though
we didn't do the work here. I know that this all started according to your
post 2 years ago and that was about the time that Richard started working
for us. I will be talking to him about this today and he may be out of a job
tomorrow, but he has a family that I have to take into consideration and
this is no time to be out of a job.
If I may I would like to address some other comments made in this post.
Regarding our dyno numbers: Our SuperFlow Dyno was calibrated by Superflow
themselves, we do use special tires that bite the dyno wheel better giving
us numbers that are closer to the engine HP. This allows us to see a better
picture of what the engine is doing, this does not mean that our numbers are
inflated. Three to four years ago I had Superflow come into our shop and
re-calibrate our dyno to read lower so we would never have to hear about
having high numbers again, Even though we where doing nothing wrong. We used
to have Dave an excellent rep for Superflow in our shop all of the time
dynoing and making sure our guys were up to speed on the latest and greatest
in the dyno world. Dave Unfortunately passed away a year ago and we miss him
he was a great guy.
Regarding our to our warrantees:
Our warrantees are some of the best in the business but it is impossible to
make everyone happy, it comes down to the individual situation. I have had
people expecting us to warrantee there engine when THEY installed the
pistons in the engine backwards. All I am going to say here is we do our
best to make sure the customer is treated fairly, I am very involved in
every aspect of this business and if there is someone with a problem they
need to come to me and I will make it right, bottom line.
