I don't know what you paid for your 12mil or what kind of hp you're getting out of it, but I do know that I paid $200 for a stock 140hp street bike motor that pushed my bike up the hill at 68-70mph every trip out without a single problem. I own a banshee and I paid more for the port job on that and it only puts out 70hp@51mph.

    damm sounds like u got a deal on that bro! Wouldnt a good ported banshee run a little faster than that tho?

    Ya that's what I figured but I just had them done a few weeks ago....so I think im gonna go back to the shop and tell the guy like wtf dude I no 4 strokes need valve adjustments a lot but I should get more than 2 rides out of it....lol

  4. I recently bought a 04 kawi 250f of one of my buddys real cheap....bike runs freakin great, pulls strong and pretty fast. I know 4strokes are a pain to start and he told me has always had problems starting that bike....it came to the point where the bike wouldnt start at al unless i push started it and it was still hard...i got the valves adjusted and bike would start right up with ease.I took it out in the hills the next day and after riding it for awile sometimes the bike would start and other times, i wouldnt at all like before the valves got adjusted..can anyone help me on this? maybe he screwed me on he valve job...?

  5. I hope he has a quick and full recovery!!! I rolled my mini sandrail and had a somewhat similar crash.....had the damaged tendons and such, and i strongly recommend as much physical therapy as possible! i half assed mine and now i have lost motion in my hand. I hope he makes it out to the dunes soon.. :mc::beercheers:

    O o don't know what do u think....I don't see what that's has to do with my question? I said my truck was pretty quick not due to the motor but the hp to weight ratio.....and ya I tried looking at the motors themselves but mine is the edge so the frame is different and the motor is mounted up different. Plus I looked at my bros 02 3.0 auto and it was still a lil different...I just barely got my truck for my 16th bday so im fairly new to them.

  7. Dumb question but how can I tell if my girlfriends 94 ford ranger she bought is a 3.0 or 4.0.....the guy said he though it was the 3.o but he didn't know miuch about trucks. I looked under the hood at the belt diagram or something like that and it only showed the 4.o..but I looked through receipts of oil changes and a couple said 3.o and most of them said 4.0...good runing truck with only 91k miles...so sounds dumb but wpuld like some help..thanks

    But if you lose everyone laughs because you lost to a fourstroke. :porn:

    and if u do loose to a 4 stroke on a banshee what is the big deal since the 4stroke is a bugger motor
