Yes exactlt! Thats what made the banshee was its twin 2 stroke and the looks. That dirtwheels thing looks like crap. The only motor 4 the new banshee would have to be the rz500!

Yes I was. I get what there saying but that makes glamis look even worse. Sure glamis hows alot more problems than dumont, but you have to take in consideration how much bigger glamis is and how many more people.

Why do peeps say its the "glamis type" who cause problems? I find that funny.

Chaparral does have suprisingly good deals on there bike. We got good deals on my banshee and a kfx400.

I had the gbc but now have the skat-traks and I like the skats way better. Plus the gbc doesnt look as good lol.

I started on thumb and hated and it and still do!!! I dont know why quads come with it? I always that twist is bad on a quad when your going through whoops, but whats the differance between twist on a quad and a dirtbike?

I always hear that 4 strokes kill 2 strokes now, but its always like a 450 against a 250. I say you have to compare equall engine sizes. I think that the 250f should be racing with the 250 2 stroke in supercross. Im a 2 stroke guy and always will cause I love going through the gears and hitting the power band. I do give 4 strokes credit because they have came along way and are realy good running bikes, but there just not for me. As for two strokes getting rebuilt, I have a quad with a 1970 somthing yamaha rd400 motor that had just been sitting for years and all I rebuilt was the top end and its been running for at least 4 seasons now. Now remember this is a air cooled 2 stroke out in the dunes.

I was at glamis this pasted weekend and i saw a dodge smoke a chevy down the drags.

4 strokes need more motor to keep up with a smaller 2 stroke.

I've seen a 560 Predator out at the dunes and it was very quick. Take off those asian bike goggles you have on, and you will see things more clearly. The stock 500 isn't slow like every Yamaha owner wants to pretend it is (not saying you ride a Yam, cause I have no idea), and that 560 is built like mad. There is no way it is slow.

As a Predator owner, I'll be the first one to tell you that the *stock* Predator 500 isn't in the same class as the YFZ for racing. The YFZ is a track machine though. It came with ZERO factory mods, and cost nearly another $1000 more out the door. It has a bad a$$ engine for certain.

As you know, Predators (up until this year) came with a bunch of upgrades, including Fox suspension and pro steering (which kicks arse) . My Limited Edition also came with the Troy Lee Edition close ratio gear box, white bros exhaust, douglas yellow label wheels, Maxxis Razr 2 tires, upgraded bumper and grab bar, etc. My LE still cost me probably $700 less out the door than a YFZ. Now I'm doing the rejet, intake, rev box, sprocket etc - still haven't caught up to the cost of a YFZ and have a much better equipped machine. You won't see me bash on the YFZ (or the other 450s) except in fun, because none of them are crappy quads. My uncle has a couple YFZ's and I enjoy messing around on them. His stock suspension SUCKS compared to mine though.

Yes, the predator is heavier, but I'll take the weight with the other features, and reverse which makes mountain trail riding / exploring a dream. I feel the same way about the suspension and steering. VegasPredator and I have taken our quads over trails full of bowling ball size volcanic rocks up in Munds Park, AZ and they went over it very smoothly. The pro steering really shines on terrain like that. If all I wanted was a sand toy, I *might* have purchased a different quad. I did lots of research before buying this, like I do all my vehicles. The engine is rock solid, taken from their snowmobiles, and there are tons of mods for it. It will be interesting to see where the KTM partnership goes. All the big ATV magazines say great things about the predator, including calling it the best "all around" quad. That's exactly what I wanted.

I know they owner very well and have ridden with him many times and ill tell u that that particular bike is nothing specail And I do ride a yamaha but its a banshee!!

I think those bikes would be a decent race, But i took my kasea 150(blaster copy) with a yamaha rd400 motor to the el mirage dry lake bed and walked away from a pred ike it was standing still and it had like a 560 kit i think. I was only in third with three more to go. I know im

i am 2 stroke for life!! One of the favorite thing riding is the 2 stroke powerband!! dont get the same rush from a 4 stroke. Plus i like shifting alot insted of just gas and go(even though a lot of people love that). I ride a banshee though so this may be not my place lol.

My dad was on a raptor 700 with a pipe, filter, and the computer deal and i was on a kfx 400 with a pipe, rev box, airbox eliminator kit and i beat one suzuki(im only like 140 pound though and he beat the rest of them, but i dont know a whole lot about them cause im a banshee guy.

im never riding that bike again.

i cant start it or shift it. eff 2 strokes

Thats what makes them so fun to ride, it just not just shift and go . But thats my opinion.
