I was supposed to be going back east for that weekend, but my trip has been cancelled - SO...... I'm in!!! Wife and I will probably be heading up Saturday morning.

Looks like good times.... thanks guys for doing such a wonderful job of rubbing it in! I was gonna go, but after such a long week at work, I was too friggin' tired. Not gonna miss the next one, though!

I have'nt gotten that survey yet. I always thought that if you were in a registered "street-legal" vehicle and followed the "tread lightly" concept, it was legal to be out there in the desert..... Maybe I was mis-informed on the laws regarding that. On the other hand, I do think it SUCKS that we can't ride out there..... is'nt that the point of living out here in the desert - actually being able to USE it???? :argue:

Hey Pete, here's a little tip for the next time you go to Glamis - Don't fill up in Blythe. When you get to the 10 fwy, go east to the Flying J truck stop ( exit 1 in Arizona). It's only like 2 miles out of the way, and ALWAYS considerably cheaper than any of the gas stations in Blythe ( I've got a gasser, but I'm GUESSING that diesel is cheaper there too).
