iweb Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I now get a message everytime I shut down Outlook, anyone know how to make it stop or should I just say ok and let it compact? I don't have that many messages and no pics. "To free up disk space Outlook Express can compact messages. This may take up to a few minutes. " Quote

Ooo Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Actually that is a "feature" of outlook express, and the link has the reg edit to stop it..... Can you even use outlook express with exchange, besides with pop3 or imap? Quote

Can you even use outlook express with exchange, besides with pop3 or imap? If you hit yes or ok it compacts all your sent folders deleted items and it doesnt effect anything. And will come back after awhile if you dont clean your folders yourself Quote
