Paid to Ride Posted October 13, 2007 Share Posted October 13, 2007 We will be headed out for the big Halloween kickoff. Been to Dumont numerous times with quads and buggies. This time we are considering bring the dirt bikes and riding in the surrounding dessert, and maybe to the Date Farm for a day trip. So the question is do we need safety flags on our bikes if we do not ride in the dunes? Do we need flags if we ride in the dessert only? HarleyR Posted October 13, 2007 Share Posted October 13, 2007 I would say the farther away from the dunes you get the less critical it would be however it would be a good idea just to avoid any sort of trouble from rangers... thats just me talking the over cautious one... ALSO be aware that not all of that desert out there is rideable.. there are many closed areas. Please dont tread on those areas that are closed.
