king of the hill
we entered our motor home and box trailer in the bike race on the way home sunday, wonder who, and why they scheduled a bike race on one of the busiest days for big rig traffic???? HarleyR
I was lucky.. I was heading into Dumont Sunday morning and had to stop a few times because the CHP was in my lane with lights on stopping traffic I pulled on to the shoulder to let haulers and RV's pass so there was no spandex on the asphalt... although it didnt seem to stop the old fogey in the Buick... We went about 3 miles a hour all the way to the tocopa turn off, that road has no shoulder, blind turns, and 6% grades!!!! not to mention on halloween weekend all the motorhomes and toy haulers. then when we got to the red rock area, they have a bike lane and the idots were riding out on the left side of the white line!!! spandex causes brain damage, balls are not boobies, they are susposed to hang

king of the hill
They had a bike race Sunday Oct 7th also.... of all the billions spent on bike lanes, they pick the narrowest road with no shoulder to race???? look to me like more of a protest to off road events!!!
