endangered species rulings looked at..not good for us

Actually I think that it is a hit to our cause. The species in question had been previously denied being listed in the Endangered Species Act. If I'm reading it right the species have now been added to the list or are under further review to eventually be added.

Tell me if I'm wrong. :beer_bang:

i thought that too, but then i reread it.

it says

reversed seven rulings and that that the new rulings denied endangered species increased protection, after an investigation found the actions were tainted by political pressure from a former senior Interior Department official.

it can be taken both ways... i take it that the new rulings, done AFTER they were listed, DELISTED them

how are you reading it?

You are right the "new rulings" didn't compute in my brain the first time. Thanks Cheese :thumb:

Actually there is a sub section that states that noxious weeds can't be listed. All you need to do is think like a :porn: tree hugger and all that comes to mind is... "Who actually follows the laws the way they were written? Especially when it helps your agenda. :bs:

:banghead:

On a side note, the Sierra Club was founded with the intention of preserving and managing the national forests so that generations to come can enjoy the splendor of nature. That ideology has now become warped into denying access to the national forests as the way to preserve them.

It doesn't help the matter that the Sierra Club employs law school graduates, or should I say maintains a large group of interns that work for free after graduating law school to file frivolous lawsuits so that they have something good to put on their resume.

Wow - that's crazy!!! Yeah, I wondered how a weed could be on an endangered species list! :banghead: They probably see it as a food source for all the so called endangered species like lizards and frogs!!! :thumb:

Yes, she was on our side and no doubt that's why she's become such a target.

I can only hope that when the rulings she was involved with are reviewed, it turns out that denying the protection was indeed the right thing to do.

Lord knows there have been enough cases where the anti-access guys have interfered using false evidence, but of course none of that will be picked up by the media now as the road gets paved for the liberals.
