iweb Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Went out Sat. morning, went on a 2 mile run in the Rhino in a snow storm and got 2 chukar. Colder than snot with the wind and snow but it was fun. Went back to the same place Sun and there was a guy ahead of us in a full size ext. cab Dodge and while trying to turn around he got high centered with his receiver hitch on a boulder about 1/2 the size of the Rhino. So he jacked up the back of his truck, I dug around the boulder, put a heavy rope around it and drug the boulder out with the Rhino. Messed up hunting as we were right by the water hole. So we went to another spot, went on another 2-3 mile run and saw some quail and chukar but couldn't get on them for a shot. Cold but no snow. Anyone else hunt and do any good on opening weekend?
