  1.  What kind of dumba$$ jerk would do something like that? The North Pole at Dumont is not only a landmark, but it is a tradition for many families and groups. Kids and adults alike look forward to the ride through the dunes with a rest at the North Pole. My son and I have been there numerous times, and we always take our guests out there to see it. It is one of the things that makes Dumont different (and better) than the other dunes. Being drunk is no excuse for this kind of stupidity. We all party in the dunes sometimes and don't act like that. Somebody needs to find out who did this and .
  2. We will be coming out on Wednesday night so we can get some good riding in on Thursday and Friday before it gets to crowded. Once everyone starts showing up on Friday night the riding is not to good, but the people watchin' is as good as it gets. Looking forward to the DDR rides. If anyone wants to get a ride together on Thursday or Friday, let me know. Nothin' better than smooth sand and sharp razors.
  3. Thanks once again, the info is great. I wish I could come by your camp this weekend. Unfortunately, I will be working and will not be able to get to the dunes. :mc_smiley: I will take you up on the offer though, the next time out get out to Dumont. At the latest that will be Pres. Day weekend. :DDR_rocks!: Thanks again, Bombrider
  4. Thanks for the info Dunefreak. Those things look like a blast. I did find another place here in California that builds a similar product. Its called King Sand Cars. I also had a couple more questions if you don't mind. Does your car have the turbo on it? Do you think the turbo is needed or not? I am a big guy, 6' 3" and 325 lbs. I make ISBB look small and skinny. :DDR_rocks!: Do you think the car would still be comfortable for me? Can they custom fit things, etc.? Thanks Bombrider
  5. The car looks like it handles the jumps nicely. I was checking out a site in Vegas called SICK SAND TRAVEL. They make a short car with the Hayabusa and a turbo if you pay the extra $$. The cars look sweet. Are you guys from Nevada familiar with this company? Are they quality? Are there better manufacturers in the area? The more I look at these short cars I really think I am going to get one. I might have to change my forum name to Busarider. Bombrider
  6. Oh, I forgot to thank Dunefreak for the stickers. Thanks, they look awesome.
  7. Hey guys, Sorry I missed you for the group ride. We were planning on it and then had some mechanical problems. We got everything fixed and made it out to comp hill for the evening festivities though. Quite a few more people out there than in the past couple of Vet's Days. I guess it was due to the three day weekend. I've got to go up to Northern California for Turkey Day, but I'll try to catch up with you guys sometime during the X-Mas break.
  8. Me and my group will be there late Thursday (close to Midnight). Friday or Saturday sounds good for a ride. We'll be getting an early start out of there on Sunday to beat the traffic. Just post the place and time to meet. There are five of us, two bombs, a banshee, a 250r, and a z400.
  9. I guess all the other stuff is gone for good. Oh well, I will still be out there this weekend. :mc_smiley: Looking forward to meeting and riding with some of you guys.
