  1. Sounds like a good place to go over the bars? :B
  2. Dude, that roost was EPIC! :ah: I had to shut the engine off! Yesterday I washed the bike and must have cleaned 20 lbs. of sand out of it!
  3. Dude, the "bird" when you thought I was "roosting" you (when I dug in the bike) was the funniest part! I thought I got better footage of your "almost get-off" when you jumped a razor and landed in a pillow, but its hard to tell on the vid...
  4. WoW! Havnt seen this thread in a few eons...
  5. HAHAHA So has he! In fact hes usually still drunk when he shows up for work the next day...
  6. Dang son, you going BLIND or sumpin?? HAHA Come out for Poker run, ill show you some jumps...
  7. That was the best part...hahaha Try haulin mail around an MX track feeling good and having some 12 year old kid on a KTM65 stuff you in a turn and hit a 100+ table like its nothing... :black:
  8. Nah that video looks to be around 130-150 ft or so. That might be X5's kid from DD. That kids got brass wavos...Just ask Britt. He still cant believe it to this day...haha
  9. The red and white bike looks like Cooksey's. I know they were jumping a "small" jump on the finger dunes before I got there. He later started jumping a gap near the back side of comp. Prolly around 100 ft. "Big Worm" from the banned site was air'n out laundry to, but he was on Stoffers 500AF, he had on Gray FMX gear...
  10. I think these guys have a the best idea, you could wheelie your LT car all day AND see where you are going!!
  11. Paint ball gun would be much better...I think its BS they are considered "deadly weapons". They are designed to shoot people without harming them...unlike a BB gun.
  12. I wheelie because its fun, but mostly be cuz it makes me look cool, and gets me "juice"... You seriously think anyone is going to beleive you would rather wheelie all by yourself then when there is people to show of for?? Come on man... :argue:
  13. Dude, you guys missed some jumping this last weekend. No 150 footers but about half or more of that...
  14. I personally wheelie just about everywhere I go. Up, across and down, doesnt matter. But I can SEE just fine (bike). And with a rider/bike combined weight of less then an empty qwad the damage I can do is far less then a 1-2 TON car. With that said, I have no more right to the sand then anyone else here. But it simply is not that cut and dry when you mix in experience (or utter lack there of), alcohol (ZERO for me when I ride/drive) and the unknown other people all around you. The number one most popular vehicle type for noobs is a qwad or rhino. You cant blame the "type" of vehicle anymore then you can blame a breed of dog, or blame a gun for murder. Its all about the human element, period. Some of you may disagree with my opinions (nothing new to me) but I personally have chased down and roosted the snot out of many cars, qwads, and Rhino (and kin) because they did something stupid (cut your line, looking the wrong way, panic stopping right in front of you etc. etc.) I look at it this way, people forget the middle finger 5 minutes after delivery, but they REMEMBER a face full of sand MUCH longer. Especially if they have a sweet paint job. I look at it as a "crash coarse" in "ack right". The stupid ones wonder why it happend, so I have also stopped to explain, but do this at your own risk... :B In the end what will happen is if things keep going like they are then eventually legislation will step in and big brother will put a major damper on our fun. Until then, ride long, ride hard, whatch where the H%LL you are going and tear it up...Thats what ill be doing...
  15. A lot of times the people who screech to a hault dont do it to check out your ride, they do it because they get scared. It is EVERYONES responsibilty to watch out for eachother. The cost of an error on a bike compaired to a car, are 2 different things and must be accounted for. The responsibilty increases exponentially with the size and power of the machine...
  16. When I talked to the Sheriffs, they seemed very interested in the "details"...I wonder if they cited the LT driver for due care, I would have. It would have been one hell of a shame had that 14 year old child been maimed/paralyzed/killed just because some dude wanted to show off his wallet...
  17. We had a minimum of 2 spotters, much of the time 3 and thats barely enough. We waved a guy off, he then makes a u-turn without looking and almost ran head onto our guy who was lining up to jump...
  18. I think I wheelie just as much as anyone out there, but I can SEE just fine when im doing it (bike). Unless the rails have expanded steel floors or something, I dont see how you could see where you are going at all?? Busy weekend or 3 guys in the whole place, I wouldnt wheelie a CHAIR with a blind fold!!
  19. Sunday, mid day at Comp, we are sitting at the top getting ready to do some more helmet cam recording when my buddy points down the hill and yells... Theres a blue and yellow qwad, under a big 4 seater LT car. The kid on the qwad was 14 and just racing up Comp when the LT came wheelie'ng up behind him and ran him over. I was one of the first on seen. The kid seemed to be ok, he was able to tell me what day it was, his name, etc. Sheriffs arrived about 5 minutes later as did some of the kids family and was taken down the hill. Anyone know the outcome? We left after turning the kid over to the parents/Sheriff.
  20. You guys think it sucks, I think its GREAT!! Less stuff to run me and my family over is a GOOD thing...
  21. Mines paid off, I aint selling it, keepin it till it EXPLODES and leaving it there... Besides, when Diesel goes up another buck, ill be buying my gas in the food section at Costco...
  22. If you pay for the gas, DEAL!! HAHAHA
