  1. Not at all. u shouldnt have to rope off an area. if ure a responsible parent then your kids would know better then to wonder off. We have the roomates kids as well that ride around the camp, but they know that if there is any reason for them to have to change direction for five minnutes then they have the respect to do so. Their kids were riding, and im not being sarcastic, as close as they could to our tents and other quads. actually almost hit our truck cuz of them being so close, and all we asked for was five minnutes to clean out the carb. if any other camp would have asked the kids at our camp to do so, we would have been more then happy to tell them to go the other direction for a few minnutes to they wouldnt kick up dirt. They were doing roosters and just being Boogers on pourpose.

i fully agree with that. 100% we will see you guys out there at thanksgiving

  2. totally seeng the disrespect. We had one of the quad carborators opened up and the camp next to us had their kids driving a rhino in circles around the both of our camps. we asked them politely to steer the other direction for a few minnutes and they did so... but then they told their parents that we asked them to do so and then a few moments later they came back blasting music and smiling at us.. whatever we got the carb cleaned out and went on our way... but then the father drove through our camp and peeled out and was being a smartass about it.... Wow, what a way to set an example hunh? :beercheers:

sooooooo yer saying that the kids shouldnt beable to ride around camp? cause i have a 4yo that rides and i let her ride around camp all the time. i have never nor will i ever rope off a area. the dunes are the dunes. but i do let my kids ride on the outside of the trailers :beercheers:

  3. ok i know it might be a little early but. i am excited to go ride!

so who all is going to dumont for thanksgiving? my familyand i will be camping with ddr...thanks pete. i cant wait to try and stuff 9 bikes in the toy hauler :beercheers::beercheers: we will be pulling into camp sometime wednesday afternoon.

  4. What Sand YFZ is tellin you is no lie...I put 21x12x8 6 paddle Brats on mine and the difference from my old 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers is retarded. Night and day...

Only thing that sucks about the Brats is they are pricey and you have to be careful in the rocky sand...but other than that they do everything better than my haulers...climb, slide, launch, hillshoot...everything.

The tires you have now are beyond overkill on an LTR. They are geared super tall for the sand as it is...I dropped a tooth on the front to a 13 and still need a few more on the back to be able to launch worth a sh*t.

If I ever catch you at Dumont you can rail on my bike if you want. :dunno:

we will be out there at thanksgiving camped with the ddr group

  5. Ya 20x10x10 7 cup extremes are a good duning tire, but 21x12x8 haulers will give you alot better mph up the hills. If you decide to change them i would go with a 21x12x8 6 cup regular hauler. You really dont need extremes.6 cups will also make duning a little more pleasant on an 8" wheel. The tires you are running now are about the slowest style haulers for the hill speeds, not to mention alot heavier.By cutting down the rotational mass on the rear end your quad will accelerate much quicker which makes all of your duning more enjoyeable. :dunno:

yea thats what i have heard. i am hoping to find someone at dumont on thanks giving that has a set that will fit my ltr to try out. or try there bike but we will see. just wish i had known before i spent 300 on the set i have know

  6. yep people are abunch of pigs. it happens everywhere. we go to moab ut every april for easter jeep safari. there is a place there called patao salad hill. its the local party spot and it is always has garbadge everywhere. last year me my dad and my 4yo and 8yo daughter went out earlie one morning and spent 2 hours picking up other peoples trash. it sucks but what are we going to do let others get our areas closed down.

you can count on us to do our part during thanksgiving weekend :beercheers:
