my family and i were going to river but this stupid high rise i`m running is almost done and it is time to start all the fire life safety crap so i`m just going to relax this weekend cause i`m sure for the next month or two will be very busy.plus some of buddies and their families already left yesterday and there was no way i could take off.it isn`t as fun to show up late,although i really wouldn`t complain if i was going but considering all the testing that goes on at the end of a high rise.i`m going to need the rest.wow that makes me sound like i`m old.everyone be safe this weekend and COME ON OCTOBER!!!!!!!!

thank god i`m lucky enough to have a company truck and gas card. cause there is no way i could afford any where from $105.00 to $120.00 every other day.cause right now i`m building a high rise in san diego and it is 80 miles one way.typically i drive 50 to 80 miles one way to what ever job i`m doing.but with my personal truck and my wifes car we still spent $300.00 or so a month.that is not adding in going to the river or dumont.i wonder how much race gas is going for if crappy old unleaded and diesel is out the roof?

I might be in for a ride. I have to be in barstow, Saterday afternoon sometime. Too give a estiment for a job . Just need to load up the bike and go.

I knew I should have look in both areas I thought I heard it First for once that is the story of my life always a day late and a dollar short.OH WELL.

My buddy told me, he saw it advertise for Monday the 2nd of June or maybe it was the 9th on tru tv Dumont Party Police or Patrol.I think they were out there on president weekend.So we`ll see, It should be interesting.Has anyone else seen or heard anything about this?I know this was a topic 4 or 5 months ago.

awesome i remember that day with my kids,now i can race my son up the dunes and jump off of dunes with him.now my girls on the other hand we still ride around on the flats.SWEET QUAD STRING and a nice yard

i`m a member of local 441 in orange county california.i`ve worked for sasco electric since i got excepted into the apprenticeship.it has been wonderful career and i`m going on to my 13th year with sasco.i`ve been a general foreman for the last 4 years,i have had a company truck and gas card for the last 7 to 8 years.of coarse running work comes with it`s pro`s and con`s.but i would be proud if my son followed my foot steps.it has a great apprenticeship program,the best craftsman in construction,your body doesnt end up being all shot out by 40.there is all types of job`s to be had like t.i. or new construction.i have been doing high rises for the last 4 years.i`ve worked in disneyland,knottsberry farm,the angels stadium,clean rooms etc..you get the point.especially being in vegas those casino`s will always be there and when you see them you will feel a great pride that you had a part in building them.in my local we have to work until we get to 42,500 hours and then we can retire,i know they have be changing the rules around but a lot of guy`s i know have been able to get their 42,500 and then go into the shop and draw their pension.i only have 7 more years to work and then hopefully i could do something like that.well enough about my 2 cents.you guy`s could look it up on the internet and call to see what you have to do to become an apprentice for the ibew. if you or your son would like to know more pm me.good luck

2.whoopen my buddy (ltr450/pete)up banshee hill (he was on his quad and my & friend were in my rail)

3.spending time with family and friends from our group

4.got to race my son up banshee hill and dune with him and other kids in my group

5.no flats on the hauler this year

6.everything ran pretty good this season

7.prez. weekend always like watching the jeeps

8.the adult trip was AWESOME NO KIDS we all needed that break

9.fire walk in and watching my buddy fall into the fire on his side and he ended up with no marks amazing

10.a lot of great pictures with my wife and kids and being bless enough to be able to give my kids great memories.

11.oh i forgot waking up on the floor in my hauler with my hand burning cause it was leaning on the heater vent then to realize my pant were riped at the crotch and my 2 daughters and my buddy`s daughter and mama was sitting up in their beds looking at me.then i noticed the puke all over my pants,then i remembered bring out the big bottle of YEAGER.but didnt remember going to bed or how i got into the trailer or how my pants were all torn up.price less trip but oh well at least there was no hang over.

it`s always something.but my 3 kids have been riding for years and if they would have stayed on the bikes the laws want them too.they probably wouldnt want to go riding.but i always watch them pretty closely.i think when they come up w/this crap it`s because of kids riding to big of bikes.we were out at glamis a couple of years ago and there was a kid over at olds whoppen our arse`s he could barely even touch the pegs and to sift he had to lean over and thru the whoop`s he would almost crash every time but when the hill got smoothed watch out cause he was coming up fast.that was on a newyears weekend,those people (his parents)are the ones to blame for these new laws on OHV`s.we all feel the effects for those kind of people.thats my 2 cents

would like to go, If we can talk your freinds into it .Just wouldn't be any fun camping and riding by ourself's

what happen 3 weeks ago??????oh i know you heard i changed my gear stack and didn`t want arse whoopen mama said you screwed up by not asking your wife cause let me tell you how much fun we all had,no kids (so there wouldnt have been any split up or diapers to change for you)the dunes were great,everything ran great,did i say NO KIDS?we all missed our petey and it would have been great to do 1 more ride with you.but oh well we have next year to look forward to and all your about how i whooped your ARSE!!!!!!

great job.my buddy has a snap on top and bottom roll away tool box.he spent close to $10,000.yours is just as nice and you built it yourself,its nice to see some craftsmanship.

wow i thought $4.25 was bad,the other day when i went by the gas station by my house it was $4.09 2 days later it went up .16 cents but $4.29 wtf gives.but on the bright side my diesel will smoke those 35`s any where anytime thanks to BANK`S.now if our diesel prices would come down like they should be it would be perfect.i can only think what the prices will be this summer when it`s river time.o`well the price we pay for fun.

up here in canyon lake i paid $4.09 a gallon this morning OUCH!!!!!!!! on top of that I was going to orange county to drop off my transmission to have second replaced.between the price of fuel and fixing second what gives

my wife and i and the rest of our group is going without kids.it will be really weird and the first time we all gone to the dunes with out them.normally we do an adult trip once year to the river,we`ll see should be a lot fun.
