Saturday morining was nice went on a morning ride and chilled till the 2PM Meet N greet.
I finally met with Cheese, 9 Digit, Vegas style, El Presidente, LTR450 and a few more not great with names.
Went on a sweet ride and plan on making every Meet N Greet not only to Meet Peeps but to go for the Kick rides. My body was aching today..

The Obama Tidal Wave
We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack Obama,
of rare magnitude. His speeches have inspired millions and yet
most of his followers have no ideaplatitudes of "Change' or that
he says he will be a 'Uniter'.
The power of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a
powerful thing. Certainly Billy Graham had charisma. Both his
manner of speech and particularly the content changed millions.
On the extreme other hand, the charisma of Adolph Hitler, too,
inspired millions and the results were catastrophic. Barack
Obama certainly is no Hitler or a Billy Graham, but for many
Americans riding on the Obama Tidal Wave it is just like a surfer
who might be ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, but
the reality of the ride is what happens when it hits shore. what
he stands for except
Here is Just Some of What Defines Barack Obama:
* He voted for partial birth abortion.
* He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state
abortions. Would you like it if your daughters could get pregnant, then have an abortion and legally never have to tell you? It goes on now in many, many schools even with out the law.
* Supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government (quotas).
* In 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing as being
too severe. What?
* Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum
wage affair. Ask someone who has been to AA or a drug rehab if this is a minimum issue?
* Admitted his use of marijuana and cocaine in high school and
in college. Aha! The proof is in the pudding.
* His religious convictions are very murky. God always chose leaders for their character alone. Check it out.
* He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim
Jung Il and Mahmoud Ahmadineja d.
* Has said that one of his first goals after being elected would
be to have a conference with all Muslim nations. (Why?)
* Opposed the Patriot Act.
* First bill he signed that was ever passed was campaign
finance reform.
* Voted to allow law suits against gun manufacturers. Isn’t there something about the right to bear arms?
* Supports universal health-care. This is Socialism!
* Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo
detainees.
* Supports granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. Not a bad idea if you make them legal and pay taxes.
* Supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants. Like I said allow them citizenship as well and all is well.
* Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.
* Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social
Security. Citizenship first, benefits next.
* Wants to make the minimum wage a 'living wage'.
* Is a big believer in the separation of church and state. For all the wrong reasons.
* Opposed to any efforts to privatize Social Security and ins
tead supports increasing the amount of tax paid into Soc.
Sec. (Tax Increase)
* He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax
which now hits middle income brackets. (Tax Increase.)
* He voted No on repealing the 'Death' Tax. (Tax Increase.)
* He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax. (Tax Increase.)
* Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded
(which is not true.)
* He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today
(and that takes some doing.)
If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama's
and you think that his positions will bring America together
or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the
ride and not forward this Email.& nbsp; If you like most
Americans that, after examining what he stands for, are truly
not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the
wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore
and undermines the very foundations of this great Country.
We have limited time to save America or the Supreme Court
as we know it.
Inaction is action..
If you agree this is important, pass it on. The mainstream
media will not do it for you!

well Hell I figure I can post something positive also.
I am in the Aerospace industry and as we all know Millitary has been very busy over the past 8 Years.
Making decent $$ My industry has a min of 4 years left with without any decline and is expected to stay strong over the next 10.
I have a wife and two beatiful little girls. One 4 ( Katie) and the other 7 ( Ginger ) . ( They keep my sanity ).
Like dunefreak mentioned before ( Vasectomy) Mines done already !!!!
Dune season is always a priority. Use to go to glamis 6 times a year but will now be making dumont at least 4 and glamis 2.
Great peeps on the DDR site hopefully get a chance to meet all one day.
Recently found out I am diabetic but it will make me heathier in the end. I have lost 25 Lbs in three months and plan to Diet correctly with EXERCISE... I would have never done this not knowing.. :angry2:

hate to say it but , barnett clutches r horrible
in the LTR's at least...
I was on the forum last month and asked for opinions on the clutch and Barnett was the one mentioned to be the best. I am sure the type of clutch has nothing to do with the lack of effort from the Palmdale supercycles that replaced the clutch. Also I feel the advise given was the right choice..
-
Daymn, that sucks Jack.
Effin' dealer!
Might be a lot easier on you to claim it as a warranty issue.
Make em' fix it, meanwhile enjoy the dunes with us on the TRX450.
See ya out there.
R-
Thanks I will not miss this season for anything. I have sand pumping in my veins at this time and need my fix.
-
Well Hell I am screwed. I had a new barnett clutch put in my Quad three weeks ago and I have riddden around the house for about 10 minutes per day on 5 different days. This is my LTR450. I was getting the quad ready last night for this weekend and when I went to change the oil absolutely nothing came out.
I thought Dizam why the heck is nothing coming out. I have ridden and everything seemed fine but never checked the oil after picking it up from my local Suzuki dealer. They charged for oil and filter but did not put anything in.
I then put the recommended oil in the reservoir tank and crank case started up the Quad and now it does not want to run.
I have dropped it off at the dealer today and they of course deny any wrong doing but will see why its not running. I do have warranty but it should not be a warranty issue.
Now for this weekend I am lucky enough to have a new completely stock TRX450 that I really dont like using and will still be making for the weekend.
This is my rant for the day and could not be any more pissed off than I was at 10PM last night

It seems to be a very rough weekend considering the amount of people that showed up. Injury ratio to campers seems to be high hopefully Halloweenie will be safer and smoother dunes.
