  1. I have been busy trying to make my new camp marker. Here is a pic of the front lit up. Still need to finish the sides and rear.

Would you believe me if I told you I really like all the LED's all lit up?

  2. I had my radios programmed at PCI.

These are the frequency's they have programmed in each memory bank. I usually use Chkrs or BFGrly. But since none of the freq's are running any PL's, Anyone can tune in and talk if they are on the same channel.

  3. I installed a car to car radio this summer (Well I had more than a little help). Anyway I was wondering who else who runs at Dumont also runs a car to car system and what channels they use. I have the system in but haven't been able to test it by talking to anybody yet so I am kinda jazzed about learning more on how it's used and who has a system. I think the more communication we have between cars on some of these runs we have been doing is nothing but good. safety is a huge factor to me and more eyes the better. Looking forward to this season and yeah just like Pete I'M JONEZIN REAL BAD TOO!!

    Terry

I have one and really like it. I actually have one in the trailer too. Ive always thought that it would be good to use one of the channels as an emergency channel in case someone breaks down and needs to call back to camp. Maybe we could look at the channels and come up with an "unofficial emergency channel" for Dumont. Just a thought.

These radios can reach anywhere in Dumont with crystal clear reception.

  4. How my machine follows???/ You old guys just try and keep up ok!!!

My mind is getting fried Terry trust me...trying not to forget anything.

    Clutch line done and bled.

Hey just because I have a "Powered by Geritol & Viagra" bumper sticker....Doesn't mean I'm slow ! :headbang1:

  5. I bought this one at camping world. Came with a carrying bag and the bracket to mount it to the side of the RV.

Just the mounting bar mounts to the side of your RV. It sticks out like 1/4 of an inch. Then the base unit just slides over the bracket and you drop the grill in it. Takes about 5 minutes to till your ready to BBQ. It burns pretty hot so it cooks quickly unless its windy. Even has a drippings tray.

I have propane plumbed to the area where I have it mounted so its a quick disconnect like the ones you use with air tools.

Its made by Camco and I just searched it on Amazon ...Its 188 bucks

  6. :banghead: I'm due for new batteries on my hauler and thinking about 6 volt batteries as well. So how many people run 2 and how many people are running 4? You you need 4 or does it just help them last longer?

    I run 4.

2 would work fine especially if your not running an inverter. If your running an inverter, you can also run with 2. 4 Just gives you longer runtime before you have to recharge.

  7. Did a couple upgrades to the truck and camper.

I had Noma Fabrication out of Chatsworth put my toolbox on sliders in a storage box in the truck. I got tired of lifting it in and out of the trailer and I wanted the weight out of the trailer. He beefed up the box from the underside and got some ball bearing slide mounts and hooked me up. Slides like butter.

On the trailer I had him put in the new Dexter EZ lifts and box the underside of the carraige with (3) 2 x 4 metal cross braces. Pretty stout now. The Dexters have zert fittings on them so I can keep them greased.
