I’ve never heard someone say they didn’t go to Dumont because of the road. I don’t think paving will bring any meaningful negatives. It’s not like Dumont is close to a highly populated area where people will just flock to Dumont because the road is paved. Way too many positives for our vehicles and trailers longevity and reliability. I’m excited about it!

Pahrump has several trailer storage options. Not sure where you’d be coming from if that is convenient.
-
It was more crowded than I’ve ever seen. About 30 SxS’s for every 1 sand rail.
If you go to D to socialize, it was a good weekend. If you go to dune, forget it. Dunes were too crowded to go fast.
Comp Hill at night was kind of worthless... no one races anymore. It was just a social gathering.
Off weekends or less attended holidays are preferred.

Sure it is, Paul. I bet it makes the garage looks fantastic.
Side note: whats the red car in your profile? You have a 2 seater too? Looks badass.
I bought Roland's car last year and updated it quite a bit. That's why I'm selling my 4 seater.

Wow....that's a killer deal
Thanks Joe! It pains me greatly knowing what it cost to get it here. The car just finally got "perfect" this season. The electrical and steering were the last weak links. I spent $15k getting just those two things first class.
Here is a gopro video link. Sanddunesaddict is in some footage. Miss you Bert!

Love to see the pics. Keep them coming.
Gonna take a while to set in. Won't be the same without meeting up with him at D.

I am shedding tears. One of the best ambassadors of our sport. He is already missed. If you needed anything Bert could help with, he was always willing to give it.
Prayers for Ashley and the kids... They are so young.

I drove by today. Saw road work ahead signs down the dirt road from the highway. Looked like they were working near the water crossing. Didn’t have time to drive the road to see more.
