    CARTER Powersports had thier drawing for the free dirtbike giveaway today. guess who won?? a kid that they sponsor and already has like 7 bikes. with a very wealthy dad thas a sheek or something and the kid doesnt even work, his dad funds his racing. what a crock. and to top it all off.... ragdoll mx just told me that people started calling b.s. and they drew another name just to see who would win if the didnt give it to the kid (which they did give it to him anyway).. guess who they drew.... DAN NIELSEN , NOW AINT THAT SOME B.S.!!!

    :laughoff::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:

    bwuahahaha pete.lol.. no, its not that i didnt win, nothing like that. just that it always seems that people that win these types of things are never the kid that mowed lawns for a summer to buy his 1988 cr 125 and struggles to keep it running. its the guy that has to sell one of his other bikes to make room for the new one. thats all

  2. As far as I am concerned, an A-10 Warthog could obliterate the road. If it deters some people from going there, all the better. If people can bring all their staples in with them, they should be able to pack out their trash. It really is not that hard. Also this issue of trash bags "blowing " out peoples rigs, I don't get. I find it hard to believe that the amount of bags we all see along the road just "blew" out. It seems way more than just the one off bag to me.

  3. Interesting to hear about the ease of towing the 34 ft trailer. I've been checking out the brands my dad sells today. All of the include: Holiday Rambler, Jayco, Coachman & Keystone. I'll have to see if any of them have a triple axle.

    Thanks!!!

    :xmas_grin:

    I use a double Sway-Away set up with my hitch. It takes away the worry of "the tail wagging the dog". We had more problems towing the 21' trailer with our Suburban than we have ever experienced towing the bigger trailer with our 2500HD. I am lucky, we have a cul-de-sac right across from our drive way that allows me to pull in and just back right up into the Rv parking. Goodluck which ever way you go. It's all good!!! :laughing:

  4. I tow a 34ft Sandpiper tag toyhauler. The thing is huge but I have never had any problems towing it. The only draw back I can think of is turning around with it. With a 5th wheel you have a tighter turning radius, but then again when do you ever really have to make u-turns with a toyhauler? :gayboy: The only time I have to do a few point turn with mine is when I dump my tanks at my buddy's back yard. (that sounds funny :xmas_grin: ) I have never had a problem with it even in RV parks or parking lots.

    The extra bed space is nice for firewood, extra bikes, gas cans, etc. :laughing:

    You won't have to buy an expensive hitch either. here's my .02. :D

    I agree with Pete. I love to have the bed of my truck clear of a hitch. It gives me more options. My trailer is also 34' total length and is no problem to tow. It actually tows better than my old 21'. I think because of the triple axle set-up.

  5. I am kinda partial to Warrior and or Rage'n (Made by Warrior) products. The companies really do have excellent product support. They will actually have a mechanic and parts availible to customers at Glamis on the "big" weekends. I purchased a Rage'n / Blaze'n just as National RV was selling that division to Weekend Warrior. They were in transition and were still able to help me in everyway posible. Even when the selling dealer wasn't. Just my.02 worth.

  6. No disrespect to anyone, but these areas we choose to ride are not metropolitan areas. As it is, there are enough problems with health care facilities in big cities or towns. These remote facilities probably have a very difficult time recruiting good people. And when they do, I would bet they don't stay long.

    Food for thought, we choose a very dangerous hobby, we do it in very remote areas, and we don't always associate all the risks that go along with it. Just my .02 worth.

  7. Nice! :D Hopefully your fuel station lasts longer than Don29Palms'. :( His went out first trip (last weekend).

    I have seen instances in a couple of different manufacturers trailers where the ground for the fuel station was insufficient. Or it was off completely. Sometimes the crimp is no good, sometimes too much paint, sometimes just loose. I have seen Warriors, Tahoe's, and Rage'n with like problems. You would be suprised how cheaply some of these trailers are built where your eyes can't see.
