My 04 duramax has a straight pipe, no cat or muffler. Had it smogged at jiffy lube next to hot rod hill on American Pacific. They never said anything. It passed fine. Just send the wife to do the dirty work, if they say anything she can say I don't know what you are talking about, I'll have to talk w/ the hubby. Good luck with whatever you do.
Oops, I guess cat is still there just hollowed out. I don't know if any of this helps now, but good luck again.
It's Jiffy smog on Hot Rod Hill, yeah and ur muffler is mia....
Hey Adam still trying to find u one but the only issue is that ur pipes are welded and have no flanges like the stock one to bolt together.....
Hey pete got any cats lying out back to help a guy out????? I got mufflers but no cats.....

I have had excellent luck with the Oakley Sand Goggles. They work great. The only issue I have is when it is hot out they sometimes fog up becuase they seal TOO good. They use neoprene instead of foam to seal out the sand.
I have 4 pairs of these.......2 for the rhino and 2 for helmets..... the best pair of goggles I've ever owned...
A little high priced but a good investment!!!!

Here is per the service manual
Valve clearance (cold)
Intake valve
0.10 ~ 0.15 mm
(0.0039 ~ 0.0059 in)
Exhaust valve
0.20 ~ 0.25 mm
(0.0079 ~ 0.0098 in)
Same I know just thought I would throw that out there.
Hey thanks Mark....
President's Day stop by and have

You mean valve clearance? If so...
Intake valve specs are .004-.006 in. Exhaust valve specs are .008-.010 in.
At least thats what Thumpertalk tells me. :argue:

Hey thanks Pete... looks like ur dead at work like all of us.... the dealership looks like an off road repair shop right now!!!

Ughhh I saw this coming a mile away. You effers. :porn:
Who cares what kind I'm getting!
OK, seriously. I am thinking about BFG AT's. I can get them for a couple bucks cheaper through work, but I want a road hazard warranty so that is why I'd like to stick with Discount.
Hey did u call Brian at the VAC Center???
He can get the BFG's and get the warranty for u.
Our Diesel Tech had only 12,000 miles on his and they were crackin'.
It cost him around 149 bucks for all 4 new tires with a new warranty.

ok who seen the fireworks on top of comp sundaynight!!!!!
I have a video of the whole show... someone tell me how to put it on here

See I'm confused now too....
When I bought my weekly pass at the BLM trailer the lady inside said I can use the pass towards my season pass as long as I bought it before December 31st.
What's the point of buying a pass if no one is there to check it?????
I pulled out around 2:30pm on Sunday and there was no trailer or BLM Officer in sight!!!

Hey guys thanks for the input... turns out the rear pad was worn out.
So doghouse had a set for $30 bucks
Oh yeah 14 of us in our camp were tryin to figure out how to push the brake caliper in.
So after drinkin a couple miler lite's we realized that the piston turned in like a volkswagon. Who knew that???
So problem solved!!! Thanks again....

So did anybody else see the jackass in the White Ford F250 Crew Cab Friday night at comp
driving thru the lanes going about 50mph and have no regard for anybody sprayin sand at everyone???
The funny thing is that we were parked right next to a Ranger and he didn't even do anything....WTF????
I'm sorry but isn't there any common sense that there are kids at comp too????
Luckily my cousins were sittin in the truck cause less than 2 minutes before he came haulin a$$ thru the lane
they were standin in front of the truck!!!
And sure enough the next day the same truck was speedin at vendor row and almost hit one of my cousins on
there quad.
What i really felt like doing I didn't, but we all rode over to the ranger station and they said there is
nothing they can do!!!

is it grinding from the front or rear? look to see that you dont have a disc hanging up.
how bad is the sound? they all make some noise on braking. You may also have a belt slipping depending on where its coming from?
It sounds pretty loud kinda like the sound my front diff made on my truck when my gears were bad.
I would have to say the sound is coming from the rear...
-
Have a bad grinding sound while braking on my Rhino....2wd or 4wd its still the same, worse when you brake hard.
Its only a 9 month's old and only has 56 hours on it.
Any suggestions on what I can do to take it out this weekend???

Check out the new issue of Truckin' Magazine
I would recommend taking ur truck over to The Custom Shop to get ur lift & tires.
-
TOWBIN DODGE sends there trucks out to 4 Wheel Parts off of Sunset to get ur lift done, it only costs them about $5,000, they then mark it up to $10,000 onto the sticker!
Then if u have a problem u gotta take it to the dealer, then they send it to 4 Wheel Parts, if ur lucky u might get it back by the end of the week.
I would recommend getting the lift done urself so u can pick it out and choose ur wheels and tires.
Good luck
