  1. my 11yr old niece hopped on my wife's 2006 polaris trailblazer 250 and was riding like a pro in minutes and she had never ridden a quad before. what i think is good about it is the fact that its kinda a big quad very stable and wide, my wife doesn't like to shift so thats why we got it ... but it will be for sale after thanksgiving weeked and it will be at dumont over thanksgiving weekend if anyone's interested super low hours only out 2x dumont presidents day weekend and coral pink labor day weekend

  2. i have been worried about leaving the toyhauler out on the street the night before we go to dumont, so what i do is leave a few lights on and pull up the blinds so you can see inside that there's nothing inside or they could possibly think someones staying inside sleeping in the front bedroom as well.

  3. do the kids trick or treat from camp to camp?? i would assume they our out riding but since dumont seems to have more of a family atomsphere, thought i'd ask. only been to dumont on prez and new years weekends

  4. since we have a sandrail i like to go on big weekends :beerpint: as i'm always thinking whos gonna tow us out if we break down way in the back  or in some bowl at least there's lots of people to help, last prez weekend we buried the car all the way up to the bottom of the motor in some really soft sand and a train of about 6 cars pulled up and said you need some help? on a off weekend you could be sitting around digging out forever. plus the kids like all the craziness at comp and venders row and we camp along the back near the entrance and its not that crazy back there. we will be there t-day

  5. "dumont" the english bulldog first trip to coral pink and he approves!!

we stayed in the campground and it was tight. but super quiet and you felt safe leaving your stuff out.. we had a 30ft pull toyhauler in spot 2/3 no problem plus 2 trucks, trailer, sandcar and 4 quads

  6. Yes I went in and asked and they said the owner had not changed the price in 20 years so he decided it was time.

what he realized is that there is no where in henderson to dump and is taking advantage of that, we rented a rv at moturiz on boulder hwy they said to go to boulder and sunset before returning the rv and just think of all the rental rvs coming thru there and when i was at camping world i asked if they had one and he said no and the only place they refer people to is boulder and sunset. :ban-split: them if they wanna price gouge i'll go to oasis from now on..

  7. thats why we drove up there to check it out and see if we could fit in the campground as we have a 30ft toyhauler and when hooked up to our ford f350 crew cab it comes out to a length of 50.5 feet. we drove thru the campground and parked in several spots trying to image it hooked with our trailer and we wrote down several spots that we thought would work, spaces 2/3, 5, 10, 11, 22, 15/16, 8. and i would assume the group camp spot would work(it was chained off when we were there) and sounds like it would maybe be the better spot. the problem really seems to be where do you put the toys at when you unload them?? we have a 4-seat buggy and 2 quads. it seems to be a very nice campground has water/showers/dump station and only 22 spaces good luck trying to book it. http://www.reserveamerica.com/

  8. we have reservations for the coral pink sand dunes campground in utah on june 1st and was wondering if anybody knows what type of weather we should expect?? we drove up 2 weekends ago(no toys with us) just to check it out and there was lite snow on the dunes and a few quads out there..

  9. if you want a deal forget las vegas! go down to riverside/san bernadino area or the rv mall down there..we went down there and bought a 30ft fleetwood gearbox for a smokin deal!! we went all over vegas looking for a toyhauler and they just can't deal like they can down there. its a simple supply and demand with lots of competion. a place that has good deals as well is afforable rv in barstow they have tons of haulers there

  10. hey i have noticed that alot of people seem to go the blue diamond rd. route out to dumont and i was wondering why?? i live in henderson and tow a 30ft hauler and thought the straight shot to baker was better?? i only hate the truck/slow lane as it is filled with a lot of potholes and jumps :laughoff: is the hill going to pahrump smaller?? smoother road?? quicker?

  11. we have a 30ft fleetwood gearbox toyhauler and have to back over a curb to get the trailer along side the house and we used to do the blocks and 2x4s and they would break even when backing our boat over them so we had a guy make a set of ramps(2)..we paid $100 for him to make them. and they work excellent

  12. we rented this 32ft rv from moturis rv on boulder hwy. last presidents weekend and it cost somewhere around $375 for the weekend. i have called around and moturis seems to have the best deals and newest rvs without all the tacky "i'm in a rental" logos everywhere
