  1. They look nice and should be a good runner.

We want to wait and see how the suspention is, performance, and if Kawi will offer aftermarket performance parts (probably not).

    And of course,, any bugs.

It's an all new engine (they dropped their last 450 because of chronic problems), but has so far had good results in the 2 wheeler 450.

They were priced $7200 to $7400 at my local dealer, and you could probably get them out the door for close to that this time of year.

I think colors are the only reason for the price diff.

Nice looking and they feel teriffic to sit on.

Everything comes apart easy for service.

Super easy, I mean really lite to the touch throttle. Easy on the thumb.

    Seat seems good too.

  2. We love the 50cc year with out little ones.

Just keep moving them up to bigger when their ready, it never stops.

Our 7 year old rides a 90 now.

But we really love'd the 50 cc years.

Wheelies will be coming soon enough.

The kids just don't understand why we like watching them ride at this age.

"what fun do you get out of watching us??" they ask.

DAMFINO why,, but we love it.

  3. They are back-in, and a few hundred feet from the beach.

The entire place is very nice and right on the water in Newport Bay.

If you guys ride bicycles, and you have some time, a quick ride over to Balboa island is a kick for the kids.

Ya cross on the ferry over to the island.

Newport Dunes has always been pricy.

Their are a few campgrounds around Disneyland.

Orangeland was good, closer and more reasonable priced, but it's not off PCH, it's just minutes from Disneyland.

The Good Sam guide has very accurate ratings of them.

  4. My wife works a 3 on 4 off schedule. 12 hrs shifts.

She works in super specialty cancer treatment.

We IM and send e mails back & fourth all nite.

She discovered something I found that makes working all niters easier,, a project.

I used to sneek away at work and re-build an engine, or re-build something,, some sort of project.

Wife is now planning a " A Hot Lap around the USA" trip for us this summer.

She has her maps and guidebooks ect and when her patients are sleeping, and nothing much is going on in the hospital she busts out her project.

We'll tune in and post any pics and tales if anything of interest pops up along the way.

One of her current patients is a famous Custom car designer and builder, everyone in motorsports knows and likes him and his work. They chat all nite long while he recovers in bed.

He was surprised she knew all about his tallents and famous projects. Well, famous to us motorsports, car & truck nuts.

He had his cancerous bladder removed last week, and they re-built him a new bladder outta his intestine.

This way eliminates the need for a brutal lothsome external Colostomy bag.

Custom Car guys are all into custom fabrication, and building him a new bladder sounded perfect,, right along with his lifestyle.

Hold that thought if this affliction every happens to you. Ya don't want a colostomy bag.

Wife has all kinds of funny stories of his stay already. All kinds of famous friends are visiting him.

    Clint Eastwood, and others.

That's what's going on here all nite long,,, I'm an insomniac,, can't sleep, works great at Dumont watching for thieves.

So why are you up all nite?

    What's going on?

  5. Time Warner cable has,, maybe 10 High Def Channels.

Still limited stuff available it seems. Lots of re-peats.

INHD channel is pretty good. A show called "Three Sheets " in high def and is a travel show with guy that gets Hammered at different bars around the world.

    Pretty good.

HDTV channel has some good orig programs, but the bad thing is the two HD channels are merging into one.

Their is a show "Live in London" of newer and good up-and-coming Rock Music acts. Good.

Also MHD has high def music videos.

Couple off roading shows.. really well done,,

NASCAR and sports seems much more interesting in HDTV too.

    Any takes?

  6. Hello all.

after last weekend we realized we need a second air conditioning unit for our WWarrior. we have a 33' and I know its pre-wired for a unit in the bedroom.

Does anybody have some advise on what unit to install in there that you have had luck with??

    :thumb:

I suggest ya get a bid from WW, and from camping world for the job.

If it's for the bedroom get the 12.5K BTU if it's for the main part of the RV get the 15K BTU.

You need at least 5.5kw of generator to run them both.

Get the same brand that is already up there.

Camping world is the easiest place to get the work done.

    www.campingworld.com

If you bought it from Shawn, perhaps give him a call and he'll get you all dialed in.

    It's a good cheap investment.

  7. Sams Town RV park is book'd for the monster truck show, so we had to book Circus Circus.

Is it the same old dump in the same spot?

Map not to scale and looks goofy, and they re-namned the place

    Thanks.

  8. ill be out there, look for the Orange Drag YFZ with a drag pipe..I know i will get you half the hill but i dot know about the rest..lol

Wifes KFX 700 is a steamer for about 1/3 the way up then it Auto shifts too high to be a contender.

But she loves runnin in spite. She's just crazy about Comp hill.

Our kids like runnin' the hill too.

The all laughed when they first saw comp at Glamis.

Ya gotta have a head for wheelies to be really good & that I don't have.

Big weekends seems to always be a crowd wantin' to run.

    Especially at nite.
