I had a good time this weekend, even though I didn't ride too much. I think I'm gettin' too old, I really do enjoy letting people drive me around in their nice sand cars.

You can ride in my car anytime. (this little smilie is so cool)

I made it home after stopping in Baker to get a $65 used tire put on the trailer. It was great seeing some familiar faces and was great meeting some new ones. This weekend was great despite the little problems. Weather was nice and the dunes were perfect.We went on some good rides and had a blast.

I just remembered another way you can recognize my motorhome. It has a drawing of an oldtime fire engine on the back of it and a Dumont Dune Riders.com coin style sticker in the back window.

Have you thought about the Suzuki/Kawasaki 400. They are really nice.

even if your kid is 6 and you want a good bike to keep him on for a while... get a OLDER Suzuki LT80.. they are bullet proof, kid friendly, and are a bitchin camp bike after the chitlins go to bed..

Hi all... thanks for the thought, that's really sweet of you. (this is Dorie, by the way) Fortunately I signed up for COBRA insurance so I'm covered. And yeah, fractured tailbone and fractured left elbow (totally SUCKS!!!) but I'll heal and NO, it won't stop me from going back out, but I'm definitly leaning towards a rail instead of a quad now. And the sand was awesome!!! I went up on the big hills with no problems at all, it was the stupid little finger dune on the way back to camp that got me. Go figure.

Now I'm right there with ya, Pete. At least my right arm works fine, but the tailbone.... OUCH!!! Jim just calls me gimpie.

You can buy a season pass 24/7/365 from the pay machines. They take cash or credit cards. It will give you a BS little receipt and then you can trade that to a ranger for a regular pass. On the big weekends you won't be able to avoid buying either a season pass or a weekend pass.I've already been out there 4 times and next weekend makes 5 so my season pass is paying off.

Well as far as I know right now there will be my Pace arrow motorhome and flatbed trailer,Joe's lifted White chevy2500 4X4 truck and 30' toyhauler and Tim's(originalpimp)white Yukon denali with a 26' toyhauler. We shouldn't be hard to find. Anybody that comes out is welcome to camp with us.

That spot on the map or somewhere very near there is going to be good. We'll be out there Thursday night.
