We tried it a year or 2 ago and got stopped by 2 BLM's right on us as we got through the drylake leaving Pahrump, but there were 5 or so of us in rhinos. Too much dust , no rain. 1 Ticket for 1 of the guys and we got turned back. Nv is ok but they said not in CA, unless it's a plated/registered vehicle.?? But I got a map form a guy that has and still does it . I think we just got caught is the difference, actually we were ready to cross Tecopa hwy when thet got to us,

What is up with everyone hauling stuff over to comp. (mainly) but becoming more and more everywhere. If you want to have a fire , great do it and then pick up all the garbage from your party. We were out a few weeks ago even early season and I couldn't believe all the crap out there from the night before. Now, I know it's probably not anyone on this site but what can we all do to help stop it or at least slow it down. It's gotten ridiculous. I can't even imagine what it will look like after this weekend a night or two of big crowds.I would hate to see it get any worse. I don't remember it being so bad 2-3 yrs ago?? Just me or ?? And for that matter throughout the dunes. Hey we've all had something fly out once that's different than piles of junk just tossed aside after a stop. I'm not perfect but sometihng's gotta give. I konw the parking areas are a problem of their own as well but now these one timers want to take their garbage and scatter it everywhere . What the F?????? :mischevious:

Yeah, it sounds like alot. But it reminds me of a sign at a marine shop that says, " Don't stand there on your $100,000+ boat and b*tch about a $100 part!" The same could apply to this, I know I have at least that wrapped up in toys and I don't even have a rail, just atv's, truck and hauler. As long as it goes back into helping make it better. Besides you can't fight it. I'm sure they've seen how much they made off the old passes. Why not jack it up. Money doesn't seem to be an object at comp hill or at most camps out there.
