I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to tell me to go ford. NEVER!
Yes, they do have better suspension.
I plan on driving my truck untill it's not even worth selling it. So why not just make it a project truck and have a fun toy to play around with.
That's my plan and I'm stickin to it.
Yeah but you want to make it a project truck, not a money pit.
Just messin with ya man

yeah, if its your daily driver I wouldnt weld the spider gears either. Like I said it depends on what your going to do with it

I think have a canon xr70.( I have 2 video recorders) I think is the model # I will have to check. The only thing you wwould have to buy is their industrial grade velco they use if your going to mount the camera to your helmet. As for how much give me a day to think about it. I am not sure what the whole set up costs to replace today but I will be more than fair.
Terry
Yeah I've got plenty of that velcro stuff at work. let me know what all you have and how much in a pm. I want to get a couple set ups for multiple angles and what not

what was the last car that james bond drive in his last movie?
What car in 1971 came with a key that featured a spark plug gapper, phillips screwdriver, distributor and spark plug gauge and a 1 ½ inch ruler.
Ford's popular 351 engine came in 3 different designations, C, M and W. What did these letters stand for?
The Cleveland, the Windsor, and the M-block

Do you have just the camera or the recorder too? I dont want to have to go out and by another recorder, and my video camera is too big to strap to my back. How much?

I just read this entire thread from page 1 to 4 and its pretty interesting. I agree that yes the plane will take off. If i understand basic jet engine technology ( which I probably don't) The turbine sucks the air into the engine which then compressess it, adds fuel, ignites it and forces it out the back. So the plane is essentially getting sucked through the air. The only thing the conveyor is going to do is constantly increase the forward speed of the wheels which have nothing to do with the forward movement of the plane besides reduce friction.
But the more I think about it the bigger my headache gets....I think it all boils down to whether the conveyor is moving at the speed of the wheels, or the speed of the plane itself
Ahhh well, the dancing tweaker video was worth it
I need a beer now, i feel like my brains were just :chug:

Well I just ordered the oregon scientific ATC 2k last night. So when it gets here we'll see how it goes. There is a new one that just got released by twenty20 called the vholdR I think, essentially the same thing but more expensive....seems like it'd be pretty durable though. You do get what you pay for.....most the time.
Brian, If you ever find yours let me know, im still interested

Its been a while since I've used them, cause I don't need much work like that done. But when I did United Machine & Tool in Henderson was awsome and their prices were great too. I went to another machine shop on industrial that wanted 300.00 for some work and Brian did it for 40.00

Thanks Andy, I'll deffinately have to check them out

Anyone work at or know of a good local machine shop around the henderson/vegas area? I need to get an FE390 block bored and line bored and possibly the bottom end ballanced once I get the proper bearing sizes.

If it's an GM 8.5 inch I think ARB makes a air locker kit.
Or you could just weld the spider gears together and make it a permanent locker, thats kinda gorilla though, but it depends on what you want to do witht the truck
