  1. Molycorp is going to bring a TON of jobs. They are adding tons of processing piping and some plants for us contruction workers. The mine is just getting started again so more jobs are to come later on as well if you cant get in now. Its just south of Zzyzx Road (Im sure everyone knows that road ). Baker would be closer than Barstow by far.
  2. Loaded up and ready to roll. Have an extra quad packed incase the wife wants to ride but she said she wont so if anyone needs a ride......!!
  3. Yeah, Im going out to load up right now!
  4. Awesome, sounds good. Will be there between 3 and 3:30 @ Blue Diamond and the BD cutoff gas station.
  5. Who else is going to go besides Grey? Will I even be meeting anyone at the gas station?
  6. Where do you plan on parking the beast?
  7. Is everything half off or just beer? Im not a big beer fan, but jager, ketel one, 151, all top the list
  8. Oh thats bullshit. Everyone is going to be doing a little drinking Friday night! Piss poor excuse! Handle it :drunk2:
  9. Yup, thats it. Gas station will be down about 5 miles??? I think on the left right where the turn-off for Blue Diamond is.
  10. Yeah, true, but at 3:30am its not really slow We can meet up at the station @ the Blue Diamond cut-off if that would be better, doesnt matter to me but gas is usually a bit more expensive at that one (atleast it used to be, maybe not anymore??). Used to be a good $.20 more lol. I come from the east side, so I go down BD anyways (get off at Windmill and just take it out of town). Just let me know where you want to meetup Ooooh slow speed limit? At 3:30am, I use the old speed limit on BD of 55 mph and 65 mph.
  11. Im thinking for the LV guys, meet at the shell @ Blue Diamond & Dean Martin @ 3:30am like last week. Be in Dumont about 5am, maybe few minutes after.
  12. Looking good for a small turn-out possibly? I only have a quad, so thats what I will be on Coral Pink is a bit too far for a day trip, plus it will be BUSY! I agree, but I say we leave at 3:30am like the last trip as the sun its coming up at 5:30am (and its semi light at 5). **Talked to my buddy today. Hes pretty sure hes down to go if we have a group (2 riders always sucks). Hell also have his son most likely (teenager, so no babysitting lol) so that should make 3 of us going.
  13. Well maybe the i5's arent as smooth as the i6's. I never thought it was rough when I test drove it though. My i6 is smooth as silk. Granted, it sounds like a diesel when its first started up, but as far as the actual feel, its smooooooth. Im not sure why people would complain about them?? My 3800 v6 I had in my last 2 grand prix's werent as smooth I know that! The v6 in my wifes hyundai isnt either ;/
  14. I test drove a colorado. Stock, its terrible (the 5 cyl at that), however if you throw a turbo on that beast it comes to life (and remove the TQ management aspect which is why it feels like such a dog stock). Personally I dont like them and I passed and got a Trailblazer, much better! And for someone to say you cant balance a 5 cyclinder engine, are you serious? Do you understand the engine dynamics of an inline motor? Just because its an I-5 instead of an I-6 doesnt mean it cannot be balanced. Thats the most ridiculous statement ever. Im taking that my I-6 motor will be garbage out of warranty. Ill contact you at 200,000 miles
  15. Which day are you going? Cant go on Friday as thats reserved for taking the kid to the parade and doing the whole firework thing, however Saturday I may be able to.
