  1. Got to work tuesday and tore the carbs apart, new oil, new gas and sark plug.

Thing fired right up after cleaning and a few changes on A/F and jets , and I doubted myself but couldent bare to spend the cash so I stopped being lazy.

Found the pilot jet was clogged, A/F 's were off and the spark plug was rusted from sitting so long with some moisture..Drained the tank, lubed the cables and tightned the chain.

Runs great and hope to keep it stock for a long while, has a pipe and intake and that is all I need!!

    Thanks for the advice!

  2. Sam careful, when you take the black cap off of the top, the spring inside with launch across the garage is you are not careful. Also the screws in the bottom of the bowl, are very easy to strip out, we usually replace them with allen heads, just becareful not to over tighten. You also might need to make sure your floats are level. One more thought comes to mind, make sure you do not mix up the main jets, one carb has a larger jet then the other.

i am aware of those thing which makes me want to get it done profossionally but i should be allright, just want to do it once and be done so we will see what happends.I am hoping that the jetting that is installed should be right since the guy is a so cal rider who had it done when he got the bike set up with the gytr stuff and hoope I find something blocking the pilot or the carb which makes it act like it does, if not off to a shop i go..

  3. I have a set that were on my truck i bought used, the rims have a scratch or 2 but nothng major and the tires were new when I bought the truck a few months back, have 4,000 miles since new. They are Hankook 275/65/18 and have about 90% tread left on the tires. The rims are in great condition and will come with the tires and will only seperate if you pay for the dismounting.

I will post pics in a day or so but want to seel quick cuz if not I am going to powdercoat them and put bigger tires on them, selling to get a newer set of rims..

Call me at 818-322-6472 or text, located in Cali and pick up only.

    $550 for the set

  4. I buffed out my 21 ft and it was a b*tch, my sides are the metal or aluminum siding but you will want to hire someone after the first go around, but it stays clean for the most part when I wash it...

Get some help and a buff wheel, it's your best friend..

If you have any issues with getting some of the dark streaks off from the rain get the MR clean eraser pads, those things clean like an SOB..

  5. Good business guy he is...

    Building fast bikes they dont!!

IF you do your research you can find small garages with great mechanics that show you the results not report them..

With the cash flow and resources that trinity has ,if they listened to the small guy once in a while, they could be in the winning circle more often, but I am sure they prefer bigger & better business ventures than the ones me and other drag race hearted & mx racers are involved in.

Just my 2 cents! Got to keep it real..

  6. I think what ynot suggested is your best bet, I bet they will get pissed that he is working on the side since trinity is pretty much by the book regarding service and may fix the problem...

On a side note, they are the worst company to get motor work done with, it's an inside joke in the drag racing cummunity about their 686 kits and their false claims on HP numbers regarding all their builds.

Allot of different avenues to go with if they say no, best bet is to get in running right unfortunatly with some more cash but I bet when you do you will forget about the sh*tty build from trinity..

  7. Nothing like doing what you love while working or having a passion like scuba diving and being able to find a particular job that allows you to do it and get paid.

I just recently became a certified EMT and scored a gig on the weekends working for a medic/search & rescue team that works at off road atv/motorcycle events in the surrounding deserts here in cali, I ride all day looking for hurt or injured riders while riding the course. Being able to help people and ride my atv all day doesent get any better to me..

    Congrats on the job!!

  8. maybe disconnect the battery for a few min too see if that would help.....got too love modern technology or not....good luck...o I forgot go to the dieselplace.com and maybe you can find your answer...they might be able to help...

They might help you out at diesel place or call 4 wheel parts,

maybe a total fluid loss or something like that..

I think resetting the electronics is a good start..then check the differentials and transfer case or any wires comeing from their that be have gotten unplugged or broken
