We usually camp on the road into the dunes, the rest of the area is down the beach a bit. Not as big as dumont, but when on an off weekend it is pretty nice.

Hello everyone! Having a great day here at oceano, so i thought I would share it with you. The dunes are empty, the winds are light, and the temp is 70 degrees, it doesn't get any better than this. Let me see if I can post some pics....

I bought a new to me WW TH a while back, and i can't seem to get the black/grey tank sensors to work. They show empty all the time, even when full. I have cleaned the shiat out of the tanks, checked the wires, etc.

Wow, what a tragedy. The local news was covering this for a couple of days, and there was an extensive search going on. They never said what happened to them, just that they were found. There is a bar in Randsburg that everyone rides to, I wonder if that is where they left from? That part of the desert is dangerous, there are cliffs, abandoned mines, etc. You won't find me riding there at night.

Well........found it. GFI was kicked! DUH! I blew the fuse in the converter too. that is a beotch to replace, there is two screws that hold that booger in, took me a while to figure that out! Yes Andy, i think that is a signal for low voltage. THanks

Update Battery charger is not working either. checked all fuses but the one in the bottom of the the converter? Could not get it out. it is a green one, and I tried everything to get that sucker out and no luck. C'mon somebody! I got a trip to pismo this weekend, and she aint gonna fly like this.....

Whats up Yall? Brought my trailer home today to get cleaned up for this weekend and the smoke detector is going crazy on me. The unit is a CCI, and is the one located near the roof. It beeps about every 10 seconds. Anyone ever had this happen? Im guessing it has probably gone bad. Batteries are good, and I have it plugged in. I saw on another forum that CCI is out of business, so if anyone knows what kind of unit replaces this one, that would be good. thanks!

Hell yeah, we are heading over on Friday! Looking forward to my first race in LV. The company I work for has a car in the nationwide race on saturday (Brandt-Monterey #31). Don't think we are going to make the big show, but Saturday should be a blast! I think we are going to get some tickets for qualifying on Friday- So I might see u over there!

Pete, The easiest way to solve your problem is to add about 1-2 oz of citric acid to your tank every time you fill up. It is cheap and safe to use, muriatic acid is very strong and can damage your plumbing if you over-do it. The water you use is probably Colorado river water-which is high in PH and Ca/mg. Adding a little citric acid will buffer your water and keep the Calcium and Magnesium in solution.

Mornin' All, I am having a problem with my on board battery charger, it doesn't seem to be charging at full capacity. I have a '04 WW fk19 with an onan gen. It shows full bars when the genny is running, so it looks like it is charging, but the battery just gets lower and lower. Checked all the fuses and connections. The charger stopped working altogether on my last trip, but when i reset the GFI it started working again. I assume it is tied into the GFI circuit. What should it be putting out? 12, 14 volts? Gotta get a new multi tester....

Mornin all, The wife and I are heading out to Vegas today for a much needed vacation . Since most of you guys live there, i thought you could give me some ideas on what to do. We don't gamble that much, so what else is there to do?

Oh Shiat, i don't think i want to get that involved. If i have to drop the tank, that is going to be a real pain in the azz. I thought the sending unit plugged into the bottom of the tank! Call me manana after lunch, if nothing else we will :headspin:
