  1. :dunno::thumb: I thought everyone who filed got a min. of 600.00 why did you only get 87 dollars.

I have a Sami in my garage. It is having fuel return issues but someone else get to fix it with his check. :headbang1:

Payments could be less, depending on tax liabilty and Adjusted Gross Income. Phaseout reduction begins at $75,000 for single filers and $150,000 for joint filers.
  2. We had planned to pay some bills....but the '95 :headbang1: came home last week with a window stuck half open. :dunno: I tried to look at it this weekend, but I don't think I can get to it myself. They pack that chit in the door tighter than a chinese tent in the box from the factory. I think I'll dump it in Lake Mead......oh wait....is there even enough water?

  3. enough to have a range of 20-24 inches

  4. I've been working with my machinist to build our own. We'll use the busa heads, and some other components, and build our own lower block. I have a couple really cool ideas for it that haven't been done yet that allows you to switch from 4 cylinders to 2 cylinders on the fly, as well as a little different arrangement that will actually be less work for us, and use more off the shelf parts from the motor, it will be cheaper than what's available.......

    The V8 busa sounds bada$$. click :6pak:

  5. Not to jack this thread, but I just read an article in LV City Life that I found pretty interesting.

"These people" she's referring to are activists with the Nevada Wilderness Project and Friends of Nevada Wilderness, groups that were hoping to get chunks of Lyon, Mineral and Esmeralda counties designated as wilderness as part of a federal lands bill that, only a few months ago, had prospects of being passed this year. That was until miscommunication, paranoia and fear took over, and sent the three counties into a veritable revolt against what they saw as eco-intruders scheming to steal their land with the help of the federal government.

Sounds familiar. These folks are going from county to county putting together these wilderness designations all over Nevada. I wonder if this is also how they work in Cali too.......one piece at a time.

It may have killed the county's opportunity to get money from a sell-off of federal land, but it hasn't stopped wilderness activists, who are now considering other strategies to protect lands in these rural counties.

^^^ talk about a friggen land grab!! ^^^ We know that will come next for them. :broke: I wonder if they have special lizards, or plants that need protecting from bad humans? post-475-1209673896_thumb.gif

  6. Nah it hasn't, now it's just for fun. Honestly, Picking out a flag is more about personal preference and more than likely the only story behind it is "I like the way it looks, or it describes the personality" Confederate Flag= I'm a rebel or a redneck and they look cool. I doubt anybody here really cares or knows about the history of the flag itself.

    It's a sand thing.

    Not true.

  7. I spent a lifetime in Georgia in just 3 short years. Man I hated that place. I was in Kingsland and St. Mary's. My fat a$$ couldn't stop sweating and the no beer on Sunday laws sucked (bible belt). Little in your nose bugs, mosquitos and water mocassons (spell check) Had my 250R ATC out there with the paddles hitting the local mud pits. Nobody had ever seen paddle tires or a 250R ATC out there before, it was pretty funny. I told people I was from San Diego, big mistake. They called me a faggot cause San Diego is right next to San Francisco. Which I guess makes them boys all New Yorkers according to their sense of distance.

Not bagging on you personally but a little time in Georgia goes a long way if your from someplace else. Of course I was in some pretty small towns. South Carolina was the same way. Ever heard of Goose Creek or Summerville South Carolina? Yeah, I hadn't either. God bless the local paper mills.

The only thing I really enjoyed about the south, The women were easy and the accents.

What is the Georgia flag, I can't remember, is'nt it a big flippin' peach  JK

What is the flag of Nermal?

  8. The more the sport grows, I would imagine they are going to need to adjust those ages. Parents are starting their kids younger and younger. Good luck finding a classs for your little string cheese.

Actually parents have been starting them really young for a long time. I started at 5 back in '73....so I'm sure that isn't an unusual age today either. By the time I was 7 I was on a 80cc bike.

What I would really like to know is how they come up with their figures for age/CC's. I think it was screwed up from the start.

  9. I have flown the "rebel" flag in the past and may do so at anytime in the future. I was born in Mississippi and it's still a part of the state flag, and my heritage....which by the way was due to be replaced in 2001, but a vote of 2-1 said it still remains today....since 1864. I can't see the reason to change it because someone else doesn't like it.

BTW - The stars and bars flag shouldn't be mixed up. That flag actually looked like this, and had two different versions:

The flag I think you are referring to is considered the Confederate battle flag:

  10. I usually watch Deadliest Catch......anything on History, Discovery or National Geographic channel. I usually like to watch things that educate, but NASCAR is a must for me. It's one of the few sports I watch.....most of which have a throttle involved. In the morning it's CNN and then local news....same as when I first come home from work. Gotta stay informed.

However, lately I have been helping my son and his friend work on their baja bugs. Got one wired and tuned (after changing push rod tubes and adj. valves)......and we just tore into the other, so the TV has been off lately.

  11. If you go County just remember you could get stationed outside of Vegas like Laughlin or Jean.

You should probably stop by some of the other stations like NLV and talk to a few of the fire fighters. Focus on benefits, and see which one offers more. Just a thought....and good luck.

Don't forget about Henderson FD. Click

  12. XP and Office XP Pro not sure of year but I don't think 2007. I can't just uninstall Outlook as it shows up in the control panel as Office not individual programs in Office.

Hmmm..... all of mine are separated out like this:

    post-475-1209488418_thumb.jpg

However when I click on the Office program I get a change option:

    post-475-1209488430_thumb.jpg

When I click the change option I get this....which should allow you to choose certain components.
