Are the pay as you go the same as a trac phone? They are cheap enough if so. Not a bad idea to keep one around just in case of injuries.

I have had plans on going to Dumont this upcomming weekend, however with all the rain in the forcast I am a little nervous about the road in. Does it flood out or turn into slippery snott? how are the dunes after the rain? Sounds like perfect riding weather!!

Just a quick question about cell phone service at Dumont. Is there any AT&T service out there anywhere?

It has been about 3 years sence I have been out to the big D and I remember having to ride around with my phone out and wait for the bars to show up. Has any server put any repeaters out in that area yet?

I have one and use it alot. The only issue is the new motorhome doesnt have as much clearence as the old motorhome and will not fit under the stove vent without removing the burner rack. It gets to be a bit of a pain.

Thats a hell of an idea. I never served in the service but respect the hell out of the men and women that did and currently are. I will check it out on the 22nd of Jan. Hope its still there!!! :hatdance:

I completed the Oregon All Terrain Vehicle Safety Course with my kids ages 8 and 9 Online about 3 weeks ago. After the quiz's and final exam we passed and we got to print out temp. Complition cards that are good for 30 days. I have already received the plastic cards that you must keep with you while riding. If was not real hard just time consuming to read each page and then quiz after each chapter. You can test up to 6 people in a family and anyone over the age of 16 must test seperatly. So I will still be there when my kids ride, but I think we have all the bases covered. California excepts other states safety educaion classes even if there are completed Online. Where would I be able to purchase a Dumont Dunes sweat shirt, besides vender row on a holiday weekend??
