We will plan on it! We love the dunes and my Grandkids need to be taught how to keep OUR dunes Clean!

The dunes were cleaned up. Mother Nature took care of that Monday night. LOTS of virgin sand left and when we left Wednesday probably less than 50 coaches out there!

Pulled in Saturday am. Set up pulled the cars out, and just sat for while to UNWIND! So after a few, another buddy pulled in and got all situated with him. We had one of our good ol buds hold down the dunes haunt spot for the other 5 rigs to come in. Seems we like it there. Not to thrashed, not too busy yet we can see all coming in and watch the show where the sand pit eats all the newbys up! Just kidding we even helped them get back on the sand! LOL Night perimeter run and landed at Comp. what a fun time seems like all of us needed to let our hair down. Met new peeps by the fire they set up. Then headed back to camp and chilled out by our fire. The rest of the weekend was a blast. The best runs were New Year's Day after Mother Nature blew off some steam herself the night before. WOW what virgin sand! Fast runs made our own lines and did not have to dodge any moving targets. I broke my buggy some FMU issue will have to fix that so I rode with my husband in his HOT BUS cranked up the tunes and had a blast, but not before he put me in our ill 1600 baby step learner buggy! MAN AM I SPOILED! That car beat the sh** out of me. Guess what, I'm am making some changes on that thing for sure. So yeah we had a great time did not talk with any DDR peeps out there although we saw you all. Our next rip will be end of Feb. not prez weekend. Want some smoother lines for sure. Happy new year to you all!

Just got home. SAND was awesome New Year's Day . Not too many moving targets and got in some really fast runs. Allot of fluff over by Angel hill! Good times, all ok. Some minor repairs on toys! It's all good!

This is really sad. Not only a fellow duner but a fellow resident. ALWAYS strap in people please!

Man what I could do if I had more time to work on this stuff. Ho Hum, I guess I won't worry about it til it is time to come out there next year! That is if all you duners want the Haunt back? How About let's get a vote on it?

Now it is time to really kick it up. I am getting excited to see all the TOT"s plus the SAND!!!!!

So as this season is winding down I am gearing up for Halloween 2012! We will be back as crazy as it seems to some the shear enjoyment from the kids is what pleases us the most. So get out your calendar and plan on a vivid displays that will blow some away. All for the kids!!!!! Ther will be 2 levels this year. Easy going and OMG what was that! See you there!

Nope watching that weather and will bolt out one more time before we break the boat out. Then St Anthonies in July!!!!

I wanna go NOW! But work is so heavy right now, it sadens me that it gets in the way of the sand. So, I have this huge family commitment with NEW cousins I have never met on the 17th (bummer I want to help clean up). So I am up for just about anytime I can just get away.............

Ok, I am starting the 2012 updates already. I know it is still cool outside and some rain now and then, but the plans are on the table and i have started with this years enhancements to the Haunt. Thank you for the looks and support. I sure do look forward to this years Halloween Dunes Haunt.

Do you remember when you went to your first Haunted House? What was it that scared you to pieces? Share it with me, it may give me more ideas for creepy stuff you remember. I do appreciate all your input. See you on the dunes when I'm not working on the Haunt!!!!!!

Oh, I can't wait, I am sooooo ready for some sand!

Last weekend, last year, Halloween, it's all good. You make it your own and there is ALWAYS smooth spots, just the adventure to go and find them is the fun part. It does not matter, you got good friend, food, NEW friends and some time away from the normal hustle and bustle of what we call our Normal lives, You will have fun. Most of all, be safe!!!

I am planning already...................

My Girlfriend and I were out there as well along with a friend in his Rhino, we in my Rzr. We just watched in amazement and gasp when there was NO turn, or back off. We looked at each other as just teared up as we knew what happened. :-( Very sad, could not see any real response going up but a single person from a RZR trying their darnested to get up there, bailed from the ride and started climbing with a flashlight to the top. We called in 911 and there had already been a call. We could not even imagine only but a mechanical failure or a bad call from a Dr. to send someone over the top literally. You just never know what happens and to be alone in the car? That much experience and who knows what goes on in ones life...... My last ride for the weekend was up the spine/rzr to the point of launch to pay my respects to this fellow duner. I am deeply sadended for this mans family, friends and loved ones.

I have "2" kill switches on my car accesable by me or my passenger and that is pointed out to whoever rides with me. We have no control over mechanical failures but we can deminish the outcome with knowledge. Let your passengers know what is your ah sh*t button!
