I've lived in Vegas for almost 30 years and I still hate the fuggn' summer time! I soooo wanted to be at the cabin this weekend, but Lake Las Vegas by the pool I guess will work. Next week though..I'm Utah bound for 3 days! Then vacation at the cabin for a week with my wife ONLY while the kiddies are with my mom 2,000 miles away.

Got talked in to going to Lake Las Vegas from Friday to Sunday. I wanted to go to the cabin but that's out. Hopefully this year my moron neighbors won't light my new landscaping on fire.

It seems the CBP wants to classify folding knives, one handed openers and assisted openers as being illegal, thus turning over 30 million US citizens into FELONS! Here's the link and I urge you to contact your representative and request opposition to this ridiculous proposed change. How many DDR members take a folder with them to the dunes?

dman where are you staying in maui? The company I work for has a resort there, i will be there in a couple months. Make sure to go to Ka'anapali Beach Hotel and eat at Tiki Village. It's where the 'original' Tiki Hut is located.

We were up there also over the holiday.....our good friends opened their taco shop(GRINGA's TACO's) in the village by the new dance hall. We were able to park our WW right across from it in the private meadow(R. Ingrams land). Awesome weekend and ummm Yeah the snow was a lil unexpected got us pretty muddy as we were loading up to get out of there..took the rhino to Mammoth Caves and the Knolls and Ice Cave and so on and so on, Absoulutly beautiful up there.... only bummer...I got skunked fishin.....still way to much fun to care. Ive heard you can get all the way down to Kolob Rs. from up there, I would like to try that this summer!

We were up there for 5 days over the holiday at our place in Swains Creek, very cool weather and good to get away. Where is your cabin?

It's in Duck Creek. We make it down that way quite often especially during the snow time to let the kids go sledding across from the Mammoth Cave turn off. We are headed back up there June 12-14 right before I head back to Europe for 5 days

It's in Duck Creek Village, 29 miles East of Cedar City. This picture was taken in 2004 right after we bought it. We have since put a tin roof on, added year round water and some other good stuff. It's a great get away during the summer months. Never gets above 75-80 degrees

Spent 3 days at our cabin with the wife and kids and I can honestly say it was much needed. We left after the girls and my wife went to Taylor Swift on Saturday night, rolled in around 3:30am. The rest of the weekend was fantastic! We took off today around noon when the hail, snow, rain and wind started. Here's some pictures.

Well I'm at the tail end of the European trip..3 days to go. Honestly I cannot wait to get back home and see my family. Although I cannot reveal any details of my trip on an open forum, I can post some pictures up so you can see what I've been traveling on through some of the most beautiful areas of Europe. Enjoy the pictures, it's been a very memorable trip. I just wish is was not as much work and a little play, but that will happen next year when I take the wife for 3 weeks all around Europe.

Another trip starts tomorrow. Europe bound, first France then Spain with a stop in Germany, Austria and maybe UK. Gone for a few weeks and hopefully DDR servers will let me on this time around. Seems that whenever I go out of country, I can't sign on no matter what I do. Hint hint Pete

Are you going to the HQ in Scottsdale? All in all the course was great, right up until the point you get shot. After that it's a stress course and practical applications. If you are going to HQ for the training, you're gonna love the facilities.
