I heard that barrels of fuel could go to $300 in a couple years. Imagine $10 a gallon???

At the rate the price per barrel is going up now, you can bet we will see $300 per barrel a lot sooner than 2 years from now. Government 'FOR' the people stands out in my mind. The American people will eventually stand up against the price gouging.

Yep still offer that deal. I wouldn't stop in there for a bottle of water if I was going to die of thirst. But I would gladly buy a Bud Light and return it to them after it passes through my bladder!

I'm with ya there, the F450 has been parked for quite some time. The Harley gets great mpg and it's a pretty nice ride home in the afternoon.

The other day my wife found gas for like $3.51 and was like, yeah score right? Nope, I told her she was not to buy gas at this particular station. It's a bunch of Pakistani's that own it. And until they turn UBL in, I'm boycotting any service station that smells like Dearborn Michigan. Now the've turned it into a little wanna be car lot outside. Prestige Auto Sales I think, and they have the balls to fly old Glory on about 10 flag poles. It's bad enough that corner (Pebble/Eastern) has turned into a modern day Bonanza and H street for workers. One day I'm gonna have a post from hell on here with my rants.

So today the Shell on 95 & Wagonwheel had a sign for diesel $4.69 butttt, the pump was set at $3.69. Needless to say there were a few people there filling up..my F250 and numerous cans included... Shell...serves ya right you thieven' bastards!

As of an hour ago, it's still $3.69 if you're by there.

thats a long flight hope you get hooked up with a private jet or first class how many hours? or should i say days? does it take.

I do get to fly first class, which makes it a little more easy...but it's still a total of 16 hours flight time on 3 different planes. The time difference is 16 hours ahead of us.

Las Vegas to LAX= 1 hour

LAX to Taiwan= 13 hours

Taiwan to Macau= 2 hours

Adjusting when you get there isn't bad. Adjusting when you get back is horrible. It takes 1 day for every hour time difference to get back into your regular sleep schedule. 16 days to get back on my regular schedule.

So my employer has graciously paid for a round trip business class ticket back to China I will be back on the 22nd. So everyone, take care and I'll be sure to post up some good pics.

Both my daughter's ages 6 and 8 ride Raptor 90's. The 50's just couldn't do it. Sure down in the wash it was not a problem, but after a while they got tired of that and wanted to ride the little dunes or out to the east and around. There is always and I mean ALWAYS an adult leading and an adult following. If the law is passed, then it is what it is at the end of the day. Fireworks are not allowed, but they will be there every time we go out. Will I take my kids off their quads and stick em on a lesser, more prone to getting stuck in the sand (accident waiting to happen) quad...nope, they will ride what they ride safely and effectively. Just my .02

I haven't driven my truck since I came back from Dumont on the drag weekend. Until it settles down a bit, I'm not going to spend that money unless I have to. The Harley gets about 280 miles to a tank w/ a fill up of $20 of 91 octane.

We were camped right next to bathroom # 9. The thing that stood out in our camp was the wife's Pink and White Rhino.

Well just before loading up we went over the first finger from comp and saw highway patrols lights. We went over and they had a guy on the ground with a red motorcycle by him. On the way out we saw the coroner coming in. Does anybody know anymore info ? Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

What time did you leave? We took off at noon and didn't see anything going on. Thoughts a prayers to the family.

Holy moly did the wind kick up last night. Ripped the flag pole holder off the trailer. It howled all night and into this morning. It calmed down for about 1/2 hour, then it was on again. Clouds starting really coming over the mountains and the wind was at least 25mph. So we were packed up and rolling at noon. There was hardly anyone left this morning. Here's some pictures I took yesterday.

Yep, we are here right now. We left Vegas last night around 5:00pm with some rain, wind and even ran into snow at the hump. The drive out was nice and smooth. We got to the sand around 8:00pm. The road in wasn't bad at all, no dust at all. Our two rigs were the only ones coming in.

The wind was coming in from the West around 10-15mph, but no dust was blowing since the sand was still a little wet. The 4 stroke tuning lasted until around midnight, then things went quiet. The closest camp to us is about 300 yards away .

Woke up this morning to clear skies, 50 degrees and no wind. The kids were able to just jump on their quads and ride as much as they wanted. Around 10:00, the wind started to come up to about 5mph, which made it perfect. We took the kids over to the races, which was packed and watched some good racing. There were some fast azz quads over there. One guy flipped it right off the starting line and came down on the gas tank, which subsequently sent him rolling (slowly) off his quad. He was okay and after a little breath catching was able to race his heat.

We left the races and took the kids to the . It was a nice ride with more virgin sand than I've seen in a long time. It looks like a christmas tree with all that garland on it. Anyhow, after that it was time to head back to camp. Kids had a great time riding all the way around. So at this moment, it's around 60 degrees, high clouds but plenty of sun and the wind is blowing around 10mph, but no dust.

I will be there with the family. We are leaving Friday afternoon through Sunday. Finally over the flu and staying in town for a while...

I usually do not come out with the family, but the kids are getting older and a little more responsible, so I'm making the exception this year and coming out with everyone. Leaving Friday night and staying through Monday afternoon.

YUMA, Ariz. — A Border Patrol agent trying to stop a vehicle that had illegally entered the U.S. was struck and killed Saturday in southeastern California, agency officials said.

The agent was killed about 20 miles west of Yuma in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area, a spot along the border that is popular with off-road vehicle enthusiasts and frequently used by smugglers.

The agent attempted to impede the vehicle's progress before he was hit, but the Border Patrol did not immediately have more information, said agent Eric Anderson, a spokesman for the agency's Yuma sector.

The name of the agent killed was not immediately released because his family had not been notified.

Witnesses told the Yuma Sun newspaper that agents were chasing a Hummer and a Ford pickup on Interstate 8 when the vehicles turned into the dunes and fled toward Mexico. The agent was trying to place spike strips in their path and was struck by the Hummer, they said.

The Imperial Sand Dunes are the largest dunes in California, extending north of the border for 40 miles and averaging five miles wide.

WASHINGTON — With all that growing weight up front, how is it that pregnant women don't lose their balance and topple over?

Scientists think they've found the answer: There are slight differences between women and men in one lower-back vertebra and a joint in the hip, which allow women to adjust their center of gravity.

This elegant evolutionary engineering is seen only in female humans and our immediate ancestors who walked on two feet, but not in chimps and apes, according to a study published in Thursday's journal Nature.

"That's a big load that's pulling you forward," said Liza Shapiro, an anthropology professor at the University of Texas and the only one of the study's three authors who has actually been pregnant. "You experience discomfort. Maybe it would be a lot worse if [the design changes] were not there."

Harvard anthropology researcher Katherine Whitcomb found two physical differences in male and female backs that until now had gone unnoticed: One lower lumbar vertebra is wedged-shaped in women and more square in men, and a key hip joint is 14 percent larger in women than men when body size is taken into account.
