Here is my old 96 Impala SS, had to get rid of it after I had 3 not at fault accidents. It was a magnet for bad drivers..

  2. Ahh you can't always go by that weather report. It can be raining in Shoshone, then beautiful at Dumont. Let's all just keep our fingers crossed. :thumb:

Actually shoshone and baker both show rain. Hopefully if it does it is only during the day for a short burst. If not then we will all be inside getting... :drunk: :DDR_rocks!: :mc_smiley: or  :bj:

  3. haha thanks for reminding me i need to look for those pictures now!! anyone wanna see those pics?

:DDR_rocks!: u suck! Although it does make a flatbed tow truck look puny under it! LOL :mc_smiley:

  4. yeah, that was a fun day. It was kind of ironic that I had to pull the tow truck out that came to unlock Dawns car. It was buried to the frame. Should have seen the ruts I left just getting him out. Good thing I had just got the new tires/wheels. I needed all the traction I could get. What sucks is the guys only seem to take pictures when my truck was on a tow truck, never when I was towing one out!!:hello:

  5. That is a very nice car. You just gotta love that aluminum work.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

And with a car like that Many happy years to come.

It will keep me happy for a while! :hello: I need it to take the kids out. They are 2 and 4 so still too young to follow me on quads. I hate having to leave them at camp or having to wait on grandpa to give them a ride in this one...

  6. Pete, the truck looks a whole lot better! You will like those tires. Same tires I have on the 20's I got from Travis. I will never run another tire other than these! Nice aggressive look, but still quite. How do you like them so far? I will check them out on New Years! Later!

  7. We're all hurting from the :happydrunks: oil companies and their high prices so let's all help each other out. We all live and work in different parts of Vegas so if you see a lower price than normal post it. I know for me it is a hit when it takes $85 to $100 bucks to fill up, especially when towing our toys around so any little bit helps. Thanks.... :D

Cheapest I have seen is on Windmill and Eastern @ $2.35

Check out this site. It has a link for Diesel and Gas... :beercheers:

  8. I found my limit 2 pres days ago. Took off from camp at night, heading to comp. Thought I was on the backside long hill up the back of comp. Well I wasn't! 3rd gear pinned, looked back to see where Craig and Ross were, and when I looked back up, nothing but darkness. Landed at the bottom. I got real lucky. I ended up just jamming my shoulder into the socket which craked the ball of my shoulder. Damn that sucked having to get up into my truck and drive. It was before I added the power steps, so I needed that arm to help scoot over in the seat. Just be carefull. It still hurts me to this day when I only get a foot or two of air.

  9. I understand, Chris. But those stock grey steel wheels gotta go. If I wait and lift it we're prob talking 6months to a year. :monkeedance2: F that. It's getting some wheels and tires now.

What if I ask my father-in-law if he wants to part with his aluminum stocks? He just put a wider wheel on. Travis just put a 2" leveling kit on it this week. :laughoff:

  10. /\/\/\ Hey Dave I don't see you.. looks like JJ, Craig and I forgot that other dudes name.

I love Coral!!! sand and trees just seems like natures Oximoron.... I'm with dave. I think trail riding is freakin awesome

Chris, Dave is taking the picture, duh!!! LOL

  11. I started taking the Baker route. I can haul a$$ with the 26ft toy hauler fully loaded and my lifted truck (makes it a little harder to pull power wise). I usually run about 70-80 on the highway. It works out to be tha same time and it is a 4 lane highway most of the way. My friends yell at me when they follow up baker grade cuz I wont slow down and wait!! I love the power of my diesel.

  12. Joe I don't think that car was there on the DDR ride. You sure? I don't remember it...?

it was. it is my father-in-law's. My bro-in-law was driving it. He is afraid to open it up cuz he doesn't want to break anything. You should follow the owner on a ride. I think he would give you a good run. Trust me, it rides smooth! And fast too! Thats what made be want to get a Turbo Subaru rail! Here is a pic of the rail next to my quad....

  13. Nah, 20's are a bit big for me. Especially w/ only 33's. I am considering the Toyo M/T 33x12.5x18 's though. Are those available (can you get em) ? Let me know. THNX

Yo, he can get anything!! LOL I say you pull your fingers out of your a$$ (isnt that really how you broke your wrists?) and put a six inch lift with some 35's and 20's. These would look sweet on your truck, not to mention, it wont look like every other HD out there!

  14. Hey lvnalolife,

I like the wheels on the first two, you have great taste!!!

HAHAHA I wonder where those came from? Travis, watch out cuz now I got my eyes on the 22's you have on the Ford now!! Thanks for the great deals. Special thanks to TheCustomShop for helping me stay poor!! I'll see you out on the dunes.

  15. Just a thought-but maybe we could somehow hold a benefit type party to help her out because it is the holidays and she could use all the financial help she could get.20 dollars here-20 dollars there-anything to help her out i think we should do it.

Not a bad idea, count me in for twenty. I know how it hurts going to a new job. I still haven't got a full paycheck since I just transfered over to my new job. Hope she is ok and it doesn't discourage her from coming out anymore. I broke my shoulder 2 Pres's days back and still hate cresting the razors sometimes, especially jumping them. Pete, let me know what you decide to do.
