  1. Well, I wont be making it to bonneville this year or probably never! The officials had a meeting about my car and decided that it wasn't up to specs. There answer was the cars cross bracing was not big enough in certain areas per the rule book for scta-bni events. I guess they didn't want to see a dune buggy go faster than there lakesters . They are just looking out for my own safety i guess! Never no maybe some bad shait could have happend if they did let me run! I just wanted to say i have the fastest sand rail on earth!!!!!!!! with proof!!!! They took my glory
  2. sat. i picked a 12yr. old boy from top of comp and took him to the medic. his bicept was gone! the worst open wound i had ever seen! i hope he will be able to use his arm again. i gave one of there family friends my number to get a update.
  3. navarez racing products 702-499-1222
  4. call navarez racing products & if he is not interested the guy across the street will be! 702-499-1222
  5. FOR THE RECORD IT IS 4,200 FULL OF FUEL (HEAVIER THAN I WANTED!!!!!) BUT AFTER DRIVING CAR I FORGIVE THEM FOR BUILDING ME A TANK! NOW I HAVE A EXCUSE IF I GET BEAT BY SOMEONE!
  6. 4041 lbs with fuel about 1/4 tank (approx. 8 gal. gas) but it is 1800 front and 2240 rear (with 2 people in car perfect balance!)
  7. well v-rex made it to the dunes this weekend with no major glitches besides blowing fuse in the worst possible spot in the dunes! thanks to the huge tires, & the guys hanging off the car. i was able to restart and drive out. the car even managed to pull a wheelie off a lip in dunes and startled me! not used to that happening with front engine car. overall the car worked great! i have some fine tuning to do but overall i am very happy. also met some nice people out there & thank you don for the jack! wish i could have stayed longer but the flu had me in check!
  8. what jack lufkin said was he doesnt think it will do much over 200 mph, but at 170 is where everything changes! the reason he told me that is because i had t-rex to 168 mph and i still had pedal left( i thought it would easily go 200 mph but they dont think so )
  9. i will go for the landspeed title
  10. need to fix (another oil leak) & exaust leak and then to the sand for shakedown! soooo close i can taste it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. well i tried real hard along with bert to get ready for sunday shakedown! fixed oil leaks, but now the tune is a little lean i think. so it needs to go back to the tuner before i can take it to the sand! i am real disapointed but shiat happens. My guess is it was probably ok on dyno because there is no load on motor due to just turning dyno drums and now pushing car it seems to be lean not worth the risk!
  12. not going to make it on sat. trying for sunday! small oil leak need to fix!
  13. i plan to go to dumont on sat. for a little shake down! stayin for the day.
  14. no pictures just dyno slip in the glove box of my truck. maybee next time pete comes to dump shait at my house he can take it and post is somehow! i am definetly not capable! ryan
  15. hey everyone! i didnt tune the car on race gas like i had originally planned, because of t-rex tearing up drivetrain all the time. we tried to get as much power as possible with 91 octane and it makes more sense being street legal. i don't know how good the tune is until i drive the car and our night came to a end with intake splitting at welded seam but chris at danzio was a trooper and stayed after hours till 2 in the morning so i could take it home. final number was 676hp to the tires (not as much as t-rex) but i have alot left in the motor if i want to add boost and race gas! i dont know if i will take car to dumont this weekend due to intake screwed up but we will see!
