i was looking to get an air filter but was wondering what exactly an aftermarket airfilter does? does it just give it more air flow or does it give more hp. i dont know much about this kinda stuff lol well anyone know anything about this air filter or does anyone have any ideas on any other ones that might be better http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...odFamilyId=2702

never liked bikes. Didn't like quads or trikes either until they came out with my atv.. Growing up I wanted a dune buggy.. but I like my ATV enough.

theres lots of things u can do
theres graphics, different colored plastics, different colored rims, hubs spokes and nipples, bars and triple clamps, etc.
just about anything
ya im ordering some graphics i just ordered a red rim with a chrome hub it looks sick . i like my bars not gonna change till i eat crap and need a new pair lol. but im looking to get a tripple clamp but there just so damn expensive. thanks for the help

they can custom design whatever you want to put on your bike.

try checking with resenmx.com they do full custom graphics for a very good price. they did the graphics on my quad in my avatar and my 04 crf450. if you give them an idea of what you like they will come up with something email you a pic of what they came up with you decide if you like it or want to change it then they print it. you might ask about making you a deal for a second set of the same design they might work with you on that so you always have a backup if they get messed up

full exhaust, cams, headwork, blah blah blah... but that doesnt do squat if you dont have the suspension dialed in right...
k so do u know where i can take my bike to get the suspension dialed in?

I dont think ill have to worry a bout being able to keep up now.. I currently ride a 97 CR500
lol ya well im sure u will have no problem keeping up through the dunes or up the hill now my brother in law has a 97 cr500 and that thing is wicked.

Just wanted to start a thread to see what you prefere a quad or a dirtbike and what u have. i myself like dirtbikes and have a 99 ktm300 and 06 crf450r i do love quads for night riding though always up for those midnight rides.
SORRY if there is already a thread like this i did not really want to search around looking for one.

hmm ok well then i might as well not even waste the money cause i guess they couldnt really make much of a diff cause i was racing piped crf 450s at comp and didnt get beat once..but ill have to look into the sprocket sounds much cheaper then buying an exhaust

Hey i just bought an 06 crf450r and it is fast as hell already but i was wondering what the best exhaust would be for it. Im not looking to buy one anytime soon considering im still making payments but i will get eventually so if anyone has any ideas just let me know thanks.. Oh and also i was going to buy a new rear rim so i can just swap the paddle and nobby and i saw those warp 9 wheels for like 380 bucks and was wondering if they were any good.

my dad had a pred 500 and him and a friend put loads of work to it like pop up piston etc and it could not come close to beating a yfz he was so pissed he just sold it lol. he actually did the same stuff to his 660 craptor and that beat it also but maybe his pred was just a piece idk...

Check with Stephen Wade Powersports in St. George Utah. They usually have some pretty good prices since you dont have to pay tax there. You can get their info off the Honda website.

Exactly what i was thinking but i thought maybe there could be some kinda miracle and someone in vegas might match that price lol. Well ill give it a few days and maybe call some peaple in vegas and say 6,600 otd or nothin and if they dont want to do that then cali it is.
and also in cali there might be a few good riding spots to stop by on the way home. -
I am looking to buy a 2007 crf450r dirtbike of the showroom floor but am not sure where to buy it at.The best OTD price i have gotten so far was 6,600 and it was in cali and i was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere else closer to vegas that can match or beat that price?

Well judging on what i have in mind about you is that you like fast so if you ever end up getting a rail you should go with turbo charged hayabusa they are freakin sick. think about it a 750 pound car pushing over 350 hp thats almost 1 hp per every 2 pounds.
My dad just bought one and its mid travel and let me tell you its the fastest thing iv ever been in lol. We role up to high dollar LS cars take off up the hill and the they cant even come close to touching us and also they are way cheaper. -
Well i just got a sprint because all my family have sprint. So i went to dumont one weekend and i had service with my sprint phone every where except for on top of the hills for some odd reson
but ya everyone in my family has sprint also and they get service right in camp i even went around with my cell to see where i didnt have service and on the flats it never went below 4 bars but up on the hill i didnt have any service. so sprint is working awsome for me hope it does the same with you. -
Hey you sound like a fun person to ride with maybe we could hook up sometime and go ridin out at dumont. Right now i have a ktm 300 2 stroke but im trying to sell that so i can get a crf 450 like my bro but once i get it maybe we could hook up and ride..O and your vids are not bad, i should try to get the vids on here of my bro ridin stand up wheelies across the whoops goin to comp hill its sick as hell hes a good rider im sure you would like riding with him hes always 5th gear pinned and one wheel in the air lol...GEESE people. 4 friggin pages that contain about 1/2 a page of actual useable info. (thats on topic) This is why I rarely post on this site. Too many (sheeit) talkers and not enough walkers...
I have a YZ450 and a CR500 and a 1997 Banshee, which until a couple weekends ago HAD THE STOCK ORIGIONAL TOP END FROM 1997. If you blow up your 2 stroker every year, learn how to tune it and BUY OEM parts not cheap K&S crap (learned my lesson the hard way). That Banshee top end was almost TEN YEARS OLD.
If I want to own ANYONE who is shooting hills I ride the CR500, hands down, no 450 is touching me unless I screw the start.

Gas is easy to mix, and since my truck is a Diesel I have to bring different types of gas anyways. Mix as you use it and you dont have to waste so much. If I had to pick which bike I was going to ride through hell on when walking back to the truck was not an option, you better believe its going to be a 2 stroker. Theres HUNDEREDS of parts to fail in a 4 stroker. Less then a half dozen in a 2 stroker...
I wont talk skills, that cant be proven with a keyboard. Anyone who wants to talk the talk AND walk the walk and is old enough to ride across state lines with me without getting me arrested let me know. I ride almost every weekend and I love when guys who think they are bad make fools of themselves...

umm no i didnt wreck at all last weekend i laid my dirtbike down once but nothing big. i think you are thinking of something else which is my sisters boyfriend crashed his streetbike on the way to dumont but wasnt me
