Here's my 1st attempt at posting a video link from my YouTube account. It was shot from my GoPro mounted on the side of of Stan's Funco. We started out with three cars and two quads... I'm not sure how many of us made it, but somehow I ended up in front of Stan's car on my Quadracer toward the end of the video. Lot's of fun, but very rutted out!

Too bad I had a full tank of premium that went bad, but I hope that fixes the problem. Cheaper than taking it to the dealer for something I can do myself.

My last trip out to Dumont, I decided to take my RM 250 out for a spin since my boy was tearing it up on the Quadracer. I think I was a little too impatient and didn't warm it up long enough before I went off to chase him down. Luckily I only made it about 200 yds from camp before I heard that dreaded SQUEEK! I clutched her in as soon as I realized what was going on, but had to push back to camp. I can kick her over but there's no life in her. This is the 1st time I have ever seized an engine and pride myself on faithful maintenance. I know there are a bunch of two-strokers out there with a wealth of knowledge who can help point me in the right direction. I don't want to make a monster, just keep her reliable for my broken down 40 something body to keep up with my boy.

My Onan Generator developed an idle problem. When I fire it up, it runs smooth, but it speeds up and slows down constantly. I'm hoping it just needs me to pull the carb off and clean it. I let it sit too long over the summer and ran old fuel through it. Any thoughts/suggestions?

It's all a love/hate relationship with the DDR after a big weekend that I missed....I love all the stories and pics/vids....and I hate that I wasn't there!
