with the Onan gen, you will have 2 fuel filters. there will be one mounted under your rig and one attached to the fuel pump itself. My fuel filter under the rig was clean as can be, the filter attached to the pump was clogged somethin fierce. just a lil FYI

you can get the Onan 4C and camping world, johnny walker or even cummins

I dont agree with the cutting the mountain away, There are plenty of other places that a parking lot could have been graded. As for the walking trails, its a catch 22 for me. I say leave it natural and if you cant handle the terrain then stay off of it, but on the other hand, me and the wife and kids really enjoy Exploration Park in Mountains Edge and the trails they have going up the mountain there. I guess what im trying to say is leave the terrain as natural as it can be but make it accessible for the little ones to enjoy too. As for the STUPID metal horses on the freeway, I want to know how much those cost and why didnt we put that $ into the education system. CRAZY i tell you!!!!

sorry its 4C not C4.

it will always record in 1080p, try running a 32g card mine seems to work well with that. Also make sure your computer can handle 1080p alot of times the computers will only show it in in 720 or 960. if you have a PS3 put the card in there and try watching the video from that.

After the ordeal i just went through with my gen, try running a can of Onan "C4" through it. Disconnect your fuel line from the carb, crank it over while you spray the C4 in, gen should run off of the C4. The gen will smoke and spit and spudder, have no fear it is normal. Make sure to remove your air filter before doing this. Run it with the C4 for a couple of seconds each time. reconnect your fuel line then finish off the can of C4

i did these steps to mine along with replacing the fuel pump and filters. gen runs like a champ now. I swear by this stuff. hope that helps

hey RAP RIDER, i have the same riding style as you. My buddy and i will go on a few fast runs through the dunes then spend a TON of time messing around jumping (and picking up trash) we should get together one of these times and ride.

Last time I went out me and a buddy rode around for a good 30 minutes picking up trash. I understand that the "W" does blow out there but not hard enough to move cans and bottles. I makes me mad seeing all the trash.

Yeah I'd like to get a sticker or two as well. Gotta show off where i spend alot of my time hahahaha

well ive got good news. Ran some Onan 4C through the carb, replaced the fuel pump and BOTH fuel filters. Gen runs like a champ. Thanks for all the input guys

yeah. carb cleaner and starting fluid. doesnt stay running. it is getting fuel, i took the fuel line off and cranked it

Does anybody know anything about these Onan generators? I replace the fuel filter thinking it was plugged up....NOPE not the filter. Then removed the carb for a good cleaning...NOT the carb. It will fire up for about 4 seconds then die. No power Thanksgiving weekend= not a happy camper!!!!
