If its the same set up as the Banshee all you should need to do is follow the wires down from the perch and unplug them. Thats for the banshee though so the 450 might be different. IF no one heres has more info for ya, try this site. YFZ Central Quote
wingnut Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 (edited) Just pull the lever off, take out the cable then put a block off plate were the parking brake mechanism mounts to the caliper. Edited December 28, 2007 by wingnut Quote
rushjunkie Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 It seems to be the same as the Banshee's. I think they just hook into the TORS. Hoping somebody here knew before i had to call the dudes at the dealer. They arent so versed sometimes :beer_bang: Quote
indasand Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Is it going to be in the way? Why get rid of it? Quote
otis Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Is it going to be in the way? Why get rid of it? On the Banshee (at least the older ones) It's like a one piece unit that combines the clutch and parking brake. If you change out the clutch lever to an easy pull lever system, it usually comes with its own perch (Like the ASV he's going to be using) so the e-brake must be removed as well. Some just like the cleaner look with out it... Quote
